i love rockwool just because it takes up less space and holds air to water real good when not drenched.
You got cloning solution?

Yeah, I use Olivias Clone Gel. I really like it, i havnt really been getting the success rates that I have been wanting though. about 50 percent. Its my fault tho

Lets see, other than that the room is running well. Lights now off from 11 to 5 (might change to 12 to 6) ac runs from 5 to 930 might change this up a little too, I want to put it on a timer or a heat gauge cocontroller..)

what are your results with cloning mane? I am looking to betta my setup.

Humidity is 90% temp is up to 80. I have 1 2ft single t5 over it. I keep some standing water in the clone tray. What can I do to better the enviroment?

thats a great enviro 90% is a lil high i keep mines around 80-85.
other than that thats a great enviro.

I love cloning I'm even gonna start selling them. I do get some non rooters sometimes but very rarely.
I used to use root tech a while ago but switched to clonex and love it.

overall the yellow is really diminishing. It looks like in a week or so I will be able to take al the yellow leafs off and it will have a new outer green 'shell' or leafs. I don't want to take them off now as they are the biggest fan leafs closest to the light.

Yellow leafs still photosynthisize righ? I don't want my plants to just be sticks!!

yerah I had yellow leafs before. It was my fault though when I was a noob (guess i still am:eyesmoke:)

So after it 'grows out past that' it will be fine like it never happened. I can see it may have slowed down their growing a tad for a second. All look back on track except the tallest one right under the light. I will be changing its position momentarily.

Thanks for the help mane. You all might be helping make the next super strain. Cants go wrong with them genes that is fo sho. I will be making the next new 'elite clone' to send around of all of ya. It could be called the RIU pride hahah. or RIU kush (wait it aint a kush, but everyone elsejust sticks on nice names to their stuff!!)

Giod to hear. Thanks you for the help! It sucks because like I said I lost a crop do to this MG deff thing. I thought it was all burned yellow from the light and just tossed them all after starting to wilt. They were much worse than this though.

Unfortunatly I am still vegging these ones out. It wil be 2 weeks then flower. 2 months total veg from seed.

Cant wait to see that though, hope it happens to mine. Do you have any pics of your outdoor one that you could post here..

Also, what do you think the least amount of hours I could run my light and still keep the plants in veg?
I am really working against the heat here and I am thinking that if I could keep my like off for an extra hour that it would slove most of my problems. Light is going off at noon but it would be a lot better if I could keep it off from 11 to 6. Would this either make them flower or make the hermie? I don't want that obviously....

If you keep the lights off for 8 hours a day they will be just fine and continue to veg nicely. so if you keep the lights on for 16 hours a day you will be perfect. I asked someone else that is/has grown/growing C-99 and he/she said that only one of theirs developed pink hairs like mine is, but also that it was their favorite plant... aren't I so lucky? Yours is a cross, so it may be different for you... but if that is what you want, hopefully that is what you get. I will post pics later for sure.... though you may need to remind me... Your turning your lights off in the afternoon right? If your not.... that would have been the better way to go.... lights producing heat while the sun is producing heat increases the amount of total heat.... lights off during the day is better to keep down heat. Make sure the top of your grow tent is very well ventilated from the top, that will also help tremendously with the heat, especially if there are multiple places for the heat to escape from the top, as just one will not allow for the air to travel around the room as you might like.... is your intake air nice and cool and fresh? If not, ad a small A/C to cool the air just before it goes into the room.... hope this helps... also, giving your nute feedings before the plants get exposed to the heat will help them deal with heat stress a lot better, so long as you don't overfeed and burn them. I will look into it a bit more for you, and post some pics for you later...

You need a minimum of 14 hours of light in 24 hours, to prevent flowering,
after the plant has reached the 9th node.

7 on 5 off-7 on 5 off or,
9 on 3 off-9 on 3 off or,
14 on 10 off

More "on time" equal faster veg growth.

Most run 18/6 or 24 during veg,.

I like some dark preriods.

I also have the big lights on a timer
and use the floros 20-24 hours.

I run hps in the night,
and MH during the day,
along with the floros.

If you switch to the doubled up light schedule as earl was talking about, you will stress your plants, and it COULD cause Hermies.... not saying it definitely will, just that there is a very good chance... Also, some strains will start flowering in 14 on and 10 off, for example: my Cinderella started flowering in a 14.5 on/9.5 off (outdoors)... 16 hours on will guarantee they don't go into flower.

I have used the 7 on 5 off cycle
no hermies or any problems
works just fine and saves electric.

hmmm, that is very interesting. I will have to think that one over and see if it is possible in my circumstance. Im sure it is...

Yeah, the lights are off durning the day. I just wanted them to be off for a little longer while it was still hot outside.

I also have a blowerfan and I guess it is doing a 'passive' exhaust of my air cooled light. I just have 2 ducts on my tent and the light is hooked to the ducts. Does that make sense? It just pulls air across the light from outside of one side of the tent then out the other side out the window. Hope I explained that well enough.

So having the lights off untill 6 has been ok but I still have to run the a/c for a couple hours. I am just trying to keep the a/c off as much as possible. Just using it at last resort. So far I have just been checkin on the room every 2 hours when possible, most of the time I am here though.

Also, I am sure there will be a lot of variation in the crop and we may see some pink hairs, maybe not though. Im sure we will see something nice though.

Get those pictures up!!!

I was thinking that I just want the light on at night if possible so this may not be ideal for that. I also have to zip and unzip the tent at different times depending if I have to run the a/c or not as it is yet to be ducted into the tent.

hmmmm.....still thinking...

turn your lights off earlier, rather than turning them back on later. 6 is when everything starts to cool down, take advantage of circulating cool air during the earlier hours of the morning when it is naturally cooler anyways. I hope that isn't the only ventilation and exhaust that your room has. Basically all it is doing (if I understood correctly) is reducing the amount of heat produced by the light, not taking the heat that the light is bringing into the room and allowing it to escape. You should have intake coming in just for the plants, and exhaust going out of the tent for just the plants, that way they always get fresher cooler air.
Are you running the A/C during the daytime? or at nighttime? or both? is the air from the A/C going into the intake for the light, or into the room itself?
Yes, I very much look forward to seeing your flowers!
Imma go take pics right now...

hehe... fresh pics...

Edit: the first three pics are from today, the third is of one of the lowest branches, the last one of the whole plant was taken about three days ago. I will get more, better pics tomorrow. I gave them all a heavy feeding a little while ago (my feeding schedule got messed from a trip I took).
