Noob question about PH use I can not find anywhere.

Have you ever used both PH solutions in 1 mix before?

Well, I chose them for the heat factor. This 1000 watt total probably produces less heat than a 100 watt normal light bulb. The energy cost is ridiculously low. Probably less than $20 a month. They work great. Just my opinion.
Your opinion is what I asked for. Aside from the energy costs and the heat how's the end result? From your point of view.

Well, I am still learning and have never tried anything but LED. I have seen others grow with the more typical light sources and I really cant say I see a big difference. The more typical lights probably produce a little more but then it cost more to run. Then you have to remember I am in an apartment (an old apartment) and cant really set up something big and energy hungry here.

Lol....been around awhile...
Their soils are great soils. Don't get me wrong, I like them. BUT because they are so rich nutrient overlap is very easy to achieve. Especially when you're using a complete line of nutrition. The soilless medias compensate for this. Allows gardener to cater to the plants 'specific' needs. This is where the best results have been obtained.

I used Fox soils for years. Good results. A good place for people to start their journey. For some this is where they will stay because it works and because it's easy. I say if ain't broke don't fix it. If someone wants to break thru to the next level, well they won't achieve it where they are. Just saying... Sometimes we just like to be challenged.

My information base runs wide and deep. All points are proven. I do not know it all. Nor do I claim to. I am well rounded though. Always open to different points of view, always. It's what makes me so good. I listened. Now I teach those that taught me.

Started in soil. Did the Hydro thing. Back to where all things started. Organics all they way.

Happy gardening.
Hats off!! Good point.

Ok. Let me ask you a question. Why? Why do you like the LED's? I want to hear your take on them.......................please.
My take is I enjoy them. I like to grow with them and do well with them. here we go with Mars Hydro LEDS. And yes I have a grow journal and my buds are hitting the floor.:clap:bongsmilie

I get that. One thing I do not see is this.......leaves reaching for the light. Plants have nice development, but they look tired. Not picking on you. I want to clarify that point. Nice density. Nice formations. Tired droopy foliage. Liquid karma and microbelife are 2 products I would add to your regiment. Oh yeah and Hygrozyme. Great stuff. Watch the ppm going in. Less is more. I guess what I'm saying is this, not bad. It can be improved upon. If you'd like...... keep up the good work.

dam it I voted No when I mean yes

only down side I found is using silica acid to ph down with you need to use fresh water to clean your measuring stuff as if the water is too acidic the silicic acid will solidifi and cause you issues, so many block syringes because I always forget that, lol

Your plants look like mine did at about 6 weeks. Let me know if you figure out why its dying like it is. :/
A lot of the time its tiny sap sucking bugs like trips and such very hard to notice them till they get out of hand

You can spray and remove dead leaf asap

Spinosad normally works best but only worth using if your buds are getting affected, best to treat them once during veg and then later if they need it, the odd fogger bomb don`t hurt either, can also be many many deficiencies that you`ll never narrow down all the way seaweed helps with that but normally its bugs
