What was ph of water you flushed with? You could have lowered ph during flush which would allow plant to uptake nutrition now your ph has gone up again relocking nutrition out and showing ph Issue. This is the same set up that I successfully used in the past. This plant had the same problem early on but seemed to be fixed when I flushed it but for some reason just came back.
Fuck the flush! Looks like that may have done more harm then good in the long run! What was ph of water you flushed with? You could have lowered ph during flush which would allow plant to uptake nutrition now your ph has gone up again relocking nutrition out and showing ph Issue.
Lets make this faster - OP ,, Answer my questions and we can finish this quicker.I would try to figure out what is raising your ph. Did you mix soil or buy it? Any additives put in?
Never said to flush he said he flushed It prior and issue went away. I asked ph of water going in not runoff. He said ph is 7.5 never mentioned runoff.Fuck the flush! Looks like that may have done more harm then good in the long run!
Don't bother pHing any run off! That's not the soil pH or near it either!
Looks to be a a Ca/Mg def with possible other Micro nute defs and it could be pH related.
I mentioned it for him. When you water the pH will drop and rise back up as it dries out. Flushing large amounts through you soil will keep the pH out of optimal range too long and promote longer term pH problems..Never said to flush he said he flushed It prior and issue went away. Sorry i may have read it wrong ( very stoned) seemed like you were saying I wanted him to flush. Im very much anti flush. My wording could have maybe been betterI mentioned it for him. I mentioned run off for him too....he may get the idea to try that - don't!
Sorry, I get focused on the goal
You dont wanna check ph of runoff that will not be accurate at all.Using Edna's Best Potting soil. Just flushed with PHd water until runoff was 6 or so. 3 gallon bucket. 2700k cfl bulbs. I have a good feeling it is from water that was too alkaline (runoff was 7+) now 6.
I checked before flushing and it was 6You dont wanna check ph of runoff that will not be accurate at all.
