You can't swing a dead cat in central Michigan without hitting 3 or 4 growers. Little towns of 2-3000 folks will often have a grow shop. Local tow-truck driver wouldn't take bud as payment as he said he knew 6 guys growing within a mile of my little lake. From the local paper it seems the narc squad up here is mostly concerned about opoids. Only time you see a local grower busted is when they get too big and get someone's attention. Growing is easy but the competition is tough.

PS -- If you looked like me, 6'2" and 260 pounds with a 4-foot ponytail, you probably won't even have to say anything to a landlord. In fact, unless you will be running a lot of lights with the landlord paying for electricity you don't need to tell no one nothing. Better to apologize later than seek permission first.

Cool man. Just trying to cover all before i jump. I live in indiana and have gorrilla gardened for 15 years. I just want to grow my own and not go to jail

I pay my rent in advance always...I have seen my Land lord 2 times since I moved in. Both were at his office to pay cash. Paying early buys me privacy so it is well worth it.

Scary. My hair is wanting to turn grey already. Just took down the grow room. Herbs are drying. Last run ill ever make in indiana. Im moving to save ground. Michigan here i come

Geeze, I hope I didn't inadvertently start a panic!!!
Don't worry folks, no one is using FLIR on your small grow room...there is very likely not a group of badge wearing, gun carrying Neo-Nazi fascists waiting to bash down your door, and the DEA probably does not have your phone bugged.
As long as you are correctly doing your part of staying safe....IMHO, getting busted is a needle in a haystack thing.
