Deficiency / Toxicity?

Hey RIU-

I'm growing a g13 Labs OG#3. We're in early week 5 bloom. I've done a couple heavy dose flower booster waterings throughout the last week and a half.

My concern is that I've either gone to far, or possibly focused on the wrong additives?

Can you confirm if A. The orange hairs are burnt flowers? B. What are the yellow viens an indication of? C. Is my plant / soil toxic, or deficient of something? (If so, what?)

Is this why the hairs on my buds are turning orange already? If so, is this possibly irreversible?

I'm using a mixi created myself. Dr. Earth Home Grown Organics Soil, roots, and perlite

those soils have fert in them already, except the perlite of course. I did the same thing years ago where I gave a hot load of phosphorus cuz I didn't know better and the hairs turned orange and red too early.

Too much Potassium can cause problems with Manganese (Mn), Magnesium (Mg), Iron (Fe), Zinc (Zn) and Calcium (Ca).. Too much Phosphorus can cause problems with Calcium(Ca), Copper(Cu), Iron (Fe), Magnesium(Mg) and Zinc(Zn). Your soil pH will be buffered out of optimal range also if I remember right causing more uptake problems.

This soil has been flushed a half dozen times throughout the plants different stages of life. Also, my soils PH level is currently @ 6.4.

Can I perhaps flush again to resolve some of the lockout before it really takes effect?

You shouldn't have any lockouts if your soil is at 6.4

I have never in all my time growing flushed a plant more than 4 times throughout it's cycle. When I replied I thought you had over done P K booster so I was replying what happens when you do that. If you have to flush again that is 7 times now you've flushed? (A little voice inside my head is protesting this hard. It is saying you need to balance everything out by lightly feeding her but not flush for the 7th time)

the only thing that needs to be flushed is the idea of having to flush. flush that idea down the sewer. Plants don't need to be flushed, unless the grower actually over does it on the ferts. otherwise, don't flush just to flush, to correct "lockout" or anything else. Just water when the soil is dry. Don't add too much fert. If you're using a soil that doesn't require fert because it's in there already, then don't bother flushing. Just water when the soil is dry.

I ment watering with water only. Not running gallons of water through my soil bud. I do this for several reasons. Mostly because the plant doesn't always need food, but may need water.
