I would go Cupboard all day long! She will smell but with a combo of DIY filter and some ona gel most of it will be removed. My old buddy who used the layed down cupboard lived In a block of flats, no smell until right next to the cupboard. They tend not to stink as much as massive plants, if the smell is worse than you thought then there are small O2 generators (think that's what they are called) With a possible addition of joss sticks or few smelly candles or plug in air fresheners in the area you should be all good

I just noticed my 90 degree girl is to the right of leaning girl in my previous pic. She was a sativa heavy Jillybean pheno. That was her main cola pinched over during the stretch. These are straight to 12/12 rooted clones. She was a heavy yielder, but was low on the orange candy taste.

@Josh kop Yep, the cupboard draws will work well. There are even DIY carbon scrubbers made using pc fans. I cant say how effective they are but remember a guy on here I think years ago when I was doing this sort of setup building one with a pc fan and a doubled up wire cup. Personally in this situation I would add ONA gel in addition to any air cleaning ideas.

Does the carbon hold the smaller cup in place ?? It looks like it will fall out quite easy but looks amazing and I'll probably use this

Yeh sounds good , would string also work I'm worried about being to rough and killing her , also these are bag seeds so no idea what kind of strain but the smoke was real nice brought it of a mate a few times when he got a bag

Yes the carbon is a barrier between the pencil cups. You need the stocking, tights whatever you want to use, folded the way he does, then yes is could be pulled out but once mounted to the hole which is slightly smaller than the small pencil holder and taped on across the bigger one as he does then the smaller pencil holder cant go anywhere. You could mount it in various ways but the tape seals it off so that the fan behind can only pull air through the carbon and not through any gaps. The key is to make sure it is super packed tight so there are no gaps in the carbon either.
I wouldn't be surprised if you could actually buy something ready made like that these days.

I have that same little black desk fan, actually surprised me how well it works for its size

I think either box would work great for a small grow, and should be a really good way to learn some growing skills. I hit the ground at 100mph and a year later still haven't found my feet lol...

I think its seperated enough I may have to line the draws with something to seal the draw section off from the inside for light and smell reasons

Thanks mate when I jumped on the pc I saw your sig and I've found the training section , last thing I'm not sure of is what to look for in the nutes , I've seen a few reccomendations but they were products in America and I don't think they have them here

Hey I only just saw this post I don't understand how I missed it that's the kind of thing I want to make , what bulbs are you running here, also what's the proper name for this in the picture my hardware store had no idea what I was talking about but this is what I was looking for

I took an old 2 bulb ceiling light fixture, chopped the cord off a power strip ( 3 wire), and added 2 "Wye" (Y) adapters and a $1 store turkey tray for a super cheapo 4 bulb fixture View attachment 3710989 . I use 2 of them in my back-up closet grow box, about 18"x24"x30"View attachment 3710990


Edit: Also, these are cheap and work well for side/single bulb lighting ( don't overload the 2 wire cords with CFLs though, I think they need the ground wire for multiple bulbs). i take the reflector off personally, the ceramic ballast needs airflow to stay cool

I call it a "utility light with clamp, and parabolic reflector".
