The news and weather channel says high 90's. I have a large weather station on a pole with a wireless display inside. Its been hitting a 100 here. Double checked against an old analog thermometer.

Its a hot year. On track to be the hottest on record.

I believe the 110 thing. It was 107 the other day and almost 120 heat index with very high humidity.

Gives you the swamp ass.

I live in the Mojave Desert. We regularly hit 120 and did again, motoring around 116 right now. I have a swamp cooler running in the house so it's only 96. My canopy is 105. I imagine lights will shut down in another hour or so.

Gonna be 115 here today.

I grew up in Huntington and I'm in the Mojave now, where you located? I think about the only place hotter is the high desert.

I spent a lot of my youth in and around Upstate NY. A lot of those towns and small cities near The Adirondacks rarely get very warm. I remember people saying how TERRIBLE it would be if it reached 90 on a summer day.

That area isn't called 'Seven Years Winter' for nothing!
