Protests broke out Tuesday following the death of a black man in an officer-involved shooting outside a Baton Rouge, La., convenience store.
Residents protested on and off throughout the day after Alton Sterling, 37, who was selling CDs, died in a confrontation with police, as video circulated on social media capturing the deadly encounter. Demonstrators chanted, "hands up, don't shoot" and "black lives matter."

Thats another damn shame right there. Shame the fuck on you louisiana with your corrupt bullshit all the way around. I will say this, growing up in that fucked up state, you wont catch me rolling around with no armed pigs, they tell me to get the fuck down I reply by getting the fuck down (one of my friends got shot through the face in high school) same sort of shit no tussle. I know how ignorant the people they hire are, they will pop a cap (or 10) in you.

I didn't see him not get down. I did, however, see him get cross body blocked and subdued by 2 pigs while screaming "What did I do?". Seconds later, he was dead.

Its fucked up this shit happens, but the video doesnt show shit except the pigs on top and then he is shot. yeah there's audio, plenty of it, but I couldnt see fuck....Im not trying to start a discussion about this. Its a fucked up state, fucked up shit happens

If you read the story, there were eyewitnesses. Including the store owner.

When I get stopped by the police..I (me) keep my hands on the wheel, make no sudden moves, ask to move (glove box) and speak when spoken to in a friendly non-threatening manner.

Bicyclist had the right of way, and the motorist was completely in the wrong, but she is still dead.

Look man, I can agree this is 100% bullshit, but people are stupid to fight back in the moment right on the streets with police. This is the shit that happens, they WILL fucking kill you.

Whatever happened to keeping your cool, surviving the encounter and then burning their house down later? Do they not teach this anymore? Will more of the same protesting do anything?

I always thought this problem would better be solved by instead of public protest, but personal revenge. I wouldn't be holding no signs if that was my loved on shot like that, or burning someone's business down that had nothing to do with it.
