Advice please?

Ok so i found some seeds in a bag of mine and i planted them i borrowed some lights from a friend put in the cfl bulbs and have been watering for about 6-8 weeks now. But they have stopped showing progress. They even have these little orange burnt looking spots or areas i havent given any fertilizer, i ph'd the water i gave it just recently but only once. Im concerned they may be taking a turn for the worst my financial is bery limited but id like to know if this is normal and what i should do to make it better. Take a look and let me know

First things first...looks pretty healthy overall...good job working with what you have!

The orange spotting is very likely a calcium deficiency...Get some CalMag. If you cannot find it locally...ebay has reasonably priced sales.

BTW...your lighting can be a lot closer...even 2" from the tops will be ok...and you can lose the tin-foil. It is doing nothing to help at all.

Yeah they look petty good, you will want to get those CFLs within 4'' of the plant. Looks like you're using miracle grow soil. It is giving it good nutrients now but wont be ideal later on. Don't worry they wont die.

There is that one hole in the first pic that might be a bug munching but I don't see anything else.
Try spraying them down with water every once and awhile and if you can set up a fan blowing across both of them if you dont already. Bugs hate wind and it is very important to make your plants nice and strong.

I use MiracleGro's Nature's Care organic line the whole way through. Regular MiracleGro is just not ideal, due to the time release system.

Thanks guys will def get lights closer (easy fix) and yeah unfortunately i did use regular miracle grow now i see everywhere that its not good past the veg stage, i do have a fan blowing and havent seen any signs of bugs, and theres not even a small amount of light reflection from the tin foil? I thought it was genius lol

Bugs are natural. Neem clears that right up.

I don't know...I am still leaning towards a Ca issue. You know how I feel about most MG products Drab. Could be critters though...I am wrong sometimes...in fact, pretty often...
