I still got the vape I made. Ill use it once in a while. Works just as good as volcano. The only thing the volcano has on mine is its professional look. Its kind of like comparing a perfectly good apple to a glass pipe. They both work good. One just looks better.

one just looks WAY better....Im sure yours wont last long either with daily use.

Still a good idea for those who cant afford it...but if you can get the volcano then get it.... I lovee my volcanoo llol

I am going to give one a go and let you know my results. I might even be cheeky and make a container for the gun, or pull the gun apart and turn it into a solid little unit. We gotta get together and build a DIY e nail. IVe seen a few out there. Some go straight off the original design and cost a couple hundred cause some parts are hard to find

Comment on the heat gun vaporisers

2 of the links provided used galv. steel !!!!!!! Thats a bad idea for anyone let alone the health consous or sick, Galv. steal (for gas) can contain many different metals that you shurely dont want to heat up and inhale the fumes off of , Like lead, cadmium ect.




I have ben looking to make a DIY vaporiser for years one with a actual digital temp. control or at least a accurate analog . All of the heat guns I have come across use power regulation without a actual thermostat for temp. control .
Has anyone found a heat gun with a actual thermostat ?

On Saturday I met up with some RIU peeps for the first time and one of them had a heat gun vape. He had the gun and a volcano bowl/bag setup. Worked great! I have been looking for a nice digital heat gun at Grainger. My only concern is - what kind of fumes is the heating element releasing. Some lab squint needs to run a bag through a gas spectrometer.

I have been looking for a nice digital heat gun at Grainger. My only concern is - what kind of fumes is the heating element releasing. Some lab squint needs to run a bag through a gas spectrometer.

I think once the heat gun is broke in a bit there will be no fumes.
I would let it pre-heat 30 secs or something then stick it to the adaptors.

Well it's been over 3 years since I made this thread and I'm still using the same setup.

In that time I've had the chance to smoke up a few people with Volcanos and they've told me the high was as good if not better, might have been my weed though.
