iam a gas man, never run elec touching gas line staple few inch away pleaseI need to run an extension cord and instead of it going on the floor and tripping over it, I want to let it rest on a gas line that runs along my ceiling. Is this okay??
Sometimes there's no other option and if you size it correctly and it's not too long there is no issue.I personally would never run an extension cord for any light but t5/t8/t12.
What about the tracer wire that runs along the entire gas main as well as the services? It would be the same idea... carries an electric current when hooked up to the finder...iam a gas man, never run elec touching gas line staple few inch away please![]()
