Bugs and the outdoors

I am a indoor farmer, but with all this sunshine I thought I would try my hand at outdoor. now I realize I have to worry about a whole new group of critters. I here there is a worm a bud worm how do I prevent getting this creature in my buds? Is there anything else I have to worry about?I here I can hang a bait trap on my girls but what goes into the trap for bait any help would be greatly appreciated!

as of now; i am currently battling grasshoppers and have seen signs of oak moth/ bud worm. taking preventative steps for both using azamax / and safer caterpillar killer ; both neem based products pretty sure. for bud worm ; plants really need to be sprayed right before/ during beginning of flower. they nest and grow from your bud out; so they must be hit before they can get established. besides spraying; you can always use other methods like beneficial wasps or praying mantis .

luckily i have never had spider mite issues; and pretty sure most people don't outdoor. i dunno if that goes for russet or broad mites; but thank god i have never seen those near me .

image.jpg Gotta watch out for these guys outdoors to....they attack from behind ..........but seriously I use azamax and neem as my prevention sprays and they work really good ...il spray my plants every couple weeks with neem as long as I see no bugs to prevent problems .....if I see bugs I use a azamax neem mix with a drop of dawn soap and it works great ...remember if your using just neem to add a drop of soap to it to get it to mix good

Long story short. If you spray more you'll build resistant bugs. Continued use after that point is only going to further build resistance. Remember an insects life cycle is short, they reproduce quickly and share their resistance with their offspring. It's like these super bugs caused by over use of antibiotics.

That makes sense. Thanks.

My friend who has been really into essential oils recently made me a pest prevention spray out of them and and far, so good.

I can't remember which oils she used but if anyone is interested, I'll check the label she made for it tonight.

This is exactly why you gotta alternate between what you use because most of these products are anti feedents not kill on contact ....and mites do build immunity to these products after time ......at a certain point of using the same thing over and over ...were just putting dressing on the salad for the little basterds

May I ask why one would use neem and azamax together? Azamax is only azadirachtin.....Cold Pressed Neem Oil is azadirachtin plus a ton of other beneficial compounds
