yes regular t8 are trash . I would never go that way . I used to pump thousands of watts on top of my plants using mh . I am no longer in a huge rush . just a hobby here keep it cheap and fun .

Me to but unfortunately it seems that we sure do go through lots ..... It's getting where I have to ration "Miss Smokes a ton", to a quarter every 5-6 days lol. I'm glad I tried the auto's again outdoors this summer to replenish the cupboards

It's .15/18/21 a KWH here
. Then they add delivery, debt repayment, etc. So my last bill for June was $248, $100 for delivery, $100 for debt repayment (their debt repayment not mine, it's on everyone's bill), taxes as well, my total usage was like $43.00. So yup any cost savings is a bonus. Also I have tried just T5's and while it grew ok plants the yield and structure was sub par compared to my hps/Mh, could very well be my skills indoors or lack of lol.

Its a saving at the cost of less light, if that works for you then thats good, more money in the pocket but in no way is running leds at 280watts less than t5's a match. Realistically if they were that good this site would be like 'What are t5's??'.

T5s are a fluro that some growers use due to the quality of the smoke they can produce. Quality over quantity.

Yes i remember when he started pioneering them and have been a standard feature in my veg area for few years now. Peeps use to think they were crap for flowering but they under estimated tri phosphurs light qualities.

How do you feel about i-beams induction? 2000 par at the bulb, 300w. I know someone selling a few but i dont think id buy em.

Yes possibly lol. I'm not convinced that they produce better smoke but not saying they don't either, I've just never had much success re better smoke but I wasn't running a 1000 watts of them either lol.

Is that just an induction flourescent, if it is they never gained any popularity but that model looks like an attempt to make them more grow friendly.

I guess it comes from the superior spectrum of the phosphur coating, more peaks in it, i totally agree that t5s make more stickier bud but not somthing im wanting to do again since using hps. Hps is rather defficient compared to the wider spectru of t5's, they have been trying to make better hps bulbs with more blue and wider spectrums.

They are in a few bathrooms i use but never seem to have a decent light intensity, few threads ive followed where they been used but nothing youd invest in.

I have tried the t5 in flower not for me only for the last week of flower with 10k bulbs in it brought out the crystal . not saying my Philips bulbs are just as good as a t5 set up but pretty dam close to it . I only run hps in flower .

I have a little hobby. and a lucky guy with a smoking hot girl . my last bill was 450 ish . this bill is going to be a tad more and next month I will have to take out a lone ! I don't want to talk about it lol darn tomato plants going to cost me a shit load of money in electricity . lol any body think I should just go to the super market joke . cherry tomatoes 1 dollar for 2 pounds .
