Can someone please help! IM NEW AT THIS

I'm new to the whole growing thing. As of right now I have one seedling that popped outta the ground about 2 weeks ago. My concern is, the plant keeps growing leaves but not getting any taller, and also the first set of marijuana looking leaves are starting to get a tint of yellow, now is that normal or is that not okay? Please help
I'm running 4 CFL bulbs 5000k bulbs in a 5 gallon bucket with reflective tape on the inside, always have a fan on the side and at the top for airflow. I water whenever the soil gets dry.

I know I was soooo pissed. I had the dirt and seed in the pot and it got knocked over couple hours after first putting it out and couldn't find the seed in the dirt to reburied and got stuck with it like that How do you repot without causing stress cause I plan on throwing it in the bottom of the 5 gallon bucket and filled up the bottom with rocks then some soil.

And I have read somewhere online that when the bottom leaves start Turning yellow it's because the process is slowing down in those leaves and eventually you can cut them off to give that energy to the greener newer leaves.. Idk if that's true or not just something I read

You should not put rocks (or anything else) in the bottom of the pot, just soil

Don't cut the leaves, let fall off on their own

No? I read it helps to prevent the bottom from clogging, kinda seemed weird to me too cause the roots.. I've been reading a lot about this, and growing with no solid answers on the questions I have.

You can let it get bigger in what you got going now just center it when u do pot up ......what soil what food. Info info info. For help

theres a hydro store that just opened at the corner, I've been just giving it water out of a squirt bottle around the plant. And okay thanks for the info on not cutting them off

is that a clay pot? outside? not good, they dry out faster and get warmer in the sun

Those are just 2 that I'm trying out, I wanna see which one come out better cause I don't really have the space for a couple in my house. I'm just lookin for personal use out of this so I don't expect nothing crazy lol. Just kinda threw everything in dirt and watered it and now I'm this far. Kinda having fun with it and just learn better methods and stuff like that And yes both are in clay pots

bad idea dont throw the seed in the bottom it will die. It will waste all the stored energy in just trying to brake out of the soil. GL
