I need to buy a res also, the rubbermaid i was trying to use is not light proof.. so i need to buy one probably, and i want to get some drip lines too. should probably get that ppm meter, i like ppm its what i have read about. thanks for the help man! i will do this all pretty soon, untill then i have to continue to hand water...
Well you can keep it as it is... but you must find a way to keep it light tight...
If i dont let the roots get big enough to come out from under, and just transplant once they get a certain amount of roots, you think i could just leave it as is? i have a lot of red solo cups and coco waiting for clones to go into

I was thinking of doing something similar with panda plastic, i am just feeling laze, i am prolly gonna wait till the end of these clones i have are rooted then work on it cause its already wet and stuff, and this way its easy for me to look under, and if i see any signs of light dmg i will change it right away!
No mites at all or any sign of a bug at all lol. my dad foliar fed them with the lights on like a million times a day....
anyhow, i went on craiglist last night and saw a sweet deal for a 600watt hps/ml set up and everything he had to go along with it....
300 dollars later i have a nice ass ec tester, ph tester, and also a sweet ass 60x - 100x microscope from radio shack!! lol and a 3x3 tray, 2 1x3 trays, clay pellets, net pots, 2 submersible pumps, oh yeah a inline fan for the lights air cooled reflector, like 4 timers, 2 power strips, a bunch of diff string, all kinds of atatchments for the plumbing on the trays, and a bunch of other random grow stuff... fucking kick ass man best 300 dollars ive spent in a long time!! i been cleaning the stuff all day and nagging my dad to lert me cut a whole.... he seemed like he wasn't that down... but he said, "your going to do what you want anyway :angry: !!!".... so i took that as a yes and now i cut the hole!!!

Honestly i think hydro is worth the extra effort.. except i have nothing to go off of other than peeps grows on here and a rl buddy of mine.... but hey imo hydro is more fun.... you get to play Mr Wizard!!!
