I am in the UK, and the idea it was to do it asap, as I need the light back on place. That's mainly why I am looking at Europe sellers (for the fast delivery), but if the price is worth it I don't mind to wait a little for them.
If someone know where I can find a decent price on them, please let me know!!
Also I am not sure if the customs will make me pay tax? As the amount of money is not small!
For UK distributors:
http://www.primelight.co.uk/product/citizen-cob-led-clu058-1825c4-standard-0
http://www.leds.co.uk/products/citizen-chip-board-leds/cob-series-generation-5 (Marl)

And on a side note, in NL:
http://www.elincom.nl/elektronica/citizen-leds.html (officially minimal order of 30 pieces)

That last thing, minimum order quantity is an issue with several of the official distributors, don't know about the ones in the UK. If you need less, tell them you want to buy a small amount of samples first.

And yes, if you order abroad you will have to pay vat (over the product and shipping cost) and usually a small import/administration fee, bumping the cost with ~20%. Not sure exactly how and how much now after brexit but count on it.

Hola. Im wondering what anyone thinks about the clu038 cobs. I have a diy Vero 18 setup and a couple extra 70-90v 525ma drivers. Looking at the data sheet it looks like they may run 2 clu038 each. Or should I just go with the 3 V18s? Thanx

These are difusers, not lenses? I'm just curious as to their effectiveness and in what situations they would be a good choice

im using some of the Ledil RZ diffusers on 90deg Angelina. I saw about a 50-60 µmol reduction in the center hot spot and redistribution/diffusion of those photons out wider. ill let you guys know how this impacts my yield in about 2-3 weeks once that canopy10 run is complete.

first off protecting the LES doesn't concern me.......can blow off dirt, dust with canned air

If your height restricted not a bad idea to use them, output loss obviously, some studies have shown diffuse light has better greenhouse crop production==== But that wasn't with cannabis or artificial lighting

also wonder what the heat from the cobs is doing to pmma? over time

Primelight are reasonable in prices, pretty close to US prices,(£31.75 for CLU058 ) they would rather you buy a tray of 20 but will get you less if they can get them from another distributer but will cost more. "A premium will have to be paid" as Clare said
Very helpful and show a keen interest in the application. She said that Citizen are looking to specifically get into horticultural lighting.
All that said I literally just ordered mine from robincnn and hour ago even though I'm in the UK. The cost of knowing who I'm dealing with was very very little.
