Hey Rahz. I'm looking to start my set up in a 10 X 10 tent and eventually fill the entire tent in a harvest or two once I can reinvest.

I have around $1000 for lights, what do you suggest for best coverage with your Tasty lights? They look great by the way!

Yea these other guys are right 1,000$ won't cover that adequately , i'd suggest 4x 1000w hps with xxxl reflectors , put each one in a 5x5 you should be able to cover your whole 10x10.

I wasn't expecting to use the entire 10 X 10 area of the tent right away. I should've worded that better, I just so happened to have already bought a 10 X 10 tent. I was wondering with $1000, what would be the best combination in lights to start out with. I'll be sectioning off the tent, to whatever size the $1000 worth of lights will cover.

I hope this is a bit better worded.

That's cool, how do they stand up coverage wise tho? My 600w hps covers a 4x4.
Well outputwise it would be better than a 600w SE and depending on how you figure reflective losses, about the same as a 600w DE, so not unreasonable to put them in a 4x4'.

Hi Lazarus,

That's a large space, so it depends on what kind of light level you're looking for. Hydro_Jack is running I think 33 emitters in a similar size area, so whatever combination get's you there, more or less. The T4-2100 is slightly less cost per watt than the smaller lamps so I would try to use them, but the most light you can get from Tasty lamps for a grand would be 2 T3-2100s.

He said thats what he has to get "started" filling the space. And he will add to it as he makes more money. Did anyone read his first post?
Yes but he needs to be more realistic about what he is doing is all the rest of us are saying. Going into this with a fantasy budget in mind will only lead to half the lights he though he'd be getting and an upset customer for Rahz later on.......
