This is my first go with coco and mistakenly treated as just another soilless grow. I am in 7 gallon smart pots and my plants are too big! Needless to say I will going down to 5 gallons because it doesn't seem necessary for anything higher than that.

big mistake I could make enough ro water to keep up . Plants suffered.
Don't really matter what your plants look like if your Meds taste like crap. Every single flower I've tasted grown in coco has that same coco flavor. i live in a medical state and visit dispos regularly .Marijuana grown in coco = nasty tasting flowers!!!!!! Prove me wrong and I'll eat my words but I haven't seen it except very very rarely. Now thousands of people growing in this crap getting huge plants that all taste the Same. It's unfortunate really. But a lot of new growers don't know the difference so they think there shit is the bomb because it's loaded with trichomes and tests at 25% but taste like chemicals 1/2 way through every joint . Yum . No screw coco and the whore it rode in on

You are right but coco flower does have its own flavor and it is distinguishable . People grow in coco because it is very forgiving and you get massive yields . I can tell most hydro grows too from flavor it's not hard. I just don't like the flavor of coco grown Meds.
Everyone runs out. Probably most everyone buys dispensary bud if they are in a legal state. I have plenty of knowledge
and most people that grow or have grown in different media can tell the difference . No reason to try and be rude . It's an opinion

Coco holds nutes so yeah you are probably right. Like I said some can probably grow great stuff in coco but I have not ever seen it. I've always been able to tell the difference. Doesn't mean your stuff isnt good or you are not a good grower . I just don't care for coco . Use it if you want too.

You could be right but I've smoked a lot of Meds and all the coco grown Meds has been pretty whack . It's unfortunate as most stuff coming out is in coco . Commercial stuff anyways. I have never tasted Meds grown in coco that didn't taste rather shitty.Full circle back to theee original culprit.........The GROWER!!!..... cha ching.... Eh... tell me what I've won! Buck.
I can dig that. Maybe the CoCo guys in your area are not thinking about the finished product.
