That's a reasonable question potty mouth. I never said people should be without the ability to protect themselves or hire somebody from any number of people offering those services in a competitive free market environment did I?

If you are forced to pay for somebody who purports to protect you from people who will use force against you, it becomes a little nonsensical. Yet that's what happens in the here and now.

So to answer your question, I do or a person I have hired does. Or if you're like me and are good to people, friends would come to your aid if a thug were threatening to take your stuff.

Well, I've missed you too Poopy Pants.

You sort of brought up a good point. You're probably right that people don't want others dictating how they will educate or bring up their children.

The contradictory flaw in your thinking is, you correctly allude to the idea people should only engage in relationships with others who consent, then you champion something totally opposite when it comes to funding schools in a nonconsensual manner. In other words you're a hypocrite.

In an unfree market, forcible monopolies occur. They don't benefit the consumer to the extent that could happen if there weren't a monopoly.

In a free market, service providers can only be successful for a long time if they align their interests with consumers.

The thing you are failing to grasp is the effect of customer feedback in a free market and the harm of removing customer feedback in an unfree market such as the ones which exist now.

How would you prevent it if it's already included systemically like in the here and now ? Oh wait, you can't...because it's impossible to have something as a fundamental part of something and then also have it cease to exist.

If people had a choice of using or not using a security company, and there were many to chose from and one had lots of complaints of poor customer service such as being extortionists how long would people continue to use them ?

Your second question is a good one. If you think about it, it describes governments business model to a tee.
