I'm in line for one, too. Be interesting to see how it compares to my 2+ yo BML SPYDR 600 (~ 350w)
You have 2 BML Spyders? Thought you only had 1 that you customized.
I bet those BML's will flower well if you push the bars together close.
I'm mad at BML. They were the first light I ever wanted once getting interested in LEDs. Saw that comparison grow w/ that N.Cal grower against the Gavitas.
The results showed the BML Spyder 1200's (660w) beat out the Gavitas & produce higher THC & Terp levels. I wanted & did believe it for so long.
Then I noticed NO documented grows anywhere for the longest time using BML's. Found one in You-Tube where the guy had like 6-9 going. The plants budded nice but got bleached tips. He never finished the documentation of the grow.
Since, I have seen a few plants that were supposedly flowered under the Spyder1200 that looked beaf. But IDK.
That Grow-Max spectrum is as Burple as it gets. Can it / Does it actually produce big?
Since then, Fluence Bio came out, improving the spectrum as an enhanced white. Looks like a killer spectrum & the price went down on the units.
When I spoke w/ BML, they admitted the Grow-Max spectrum wasn't right & that's why they produced bleached tips.
But how can the Grow-Max spectrum be soooo similiar to all these other burples & do well while the others do terrible? Maybe because BML used quality LEDs that were far more efficient?!? Dunno!
But Fluence seams to be the best Low-LED (my made up term) out.
Has anyone seen any grows using them?
I think the Gavitas comparison grow w/ the N.Cal grower is BS now. Unless highly efficient Burple was the key difference to their success using the Grow-Max spectrum. Quite possible as most of these other Burples are said to be 20-30% efficient. Which was counter theoried by the spectrum R+B theory of only giving the plants the colors they needed. Hence making electrical efficiency less important & ultimetly splitting the difference.
But, now I think white & enhanced white is the only way to go.
Still up for a go at Burple aside from my HH. Which I almost feel like the spectral graph they posted on their site is a lie & it's actually differant.
EcoSunLite has contacted me through this forum to do the side by side w/ Amare since they claim to be so similar. I highly doubt they will follow through. But if they do, I will provide a very fair & unbiased grow, side by side, review.
It would be called Enhanced Burple vs. Enhanced White. Amare + Eco comparison.
I truly do believe the enhanced Burple can do well. But still have yet to see Burple do anything in my hands.
The HH is enhanced Burple @ the moment & seems to be doing quite well. Mind you, it was never a true Burple to begin w/. It has about 9% green in its all in one spectrum according to the graph they provide & appears almost white in a pinkish blue Kind've way.

Pet, you could push the bars close one the Spyder600 & it would be the same dimensions as a Pro-3 or 4 almost.
I think that would be a great side by side but you'll have to step up your grow game to be conclusive. No offense bro. Really!

Ok, rant over. I hope Eco does send me the light for the comparison. Like I've said 100x, I feel I was beat on my Burple experience.

I only have one S600, and the jackals started on me back then. My grow game is fine.

Don't listen to the jealous wannabes who take a picture out of context to suggest I can't grow. Mostly the same jealous foolios who drove me away from RIU 2.5 years ago, but they also show up on other grow threads, playing the same idiotic games..

They often use a pic from my last grow under the SE250 with crispy leafs. I had just switched to Emerald Harvest Cali Bloom nutes, when my pH pen quickly died. I was adding a huge amount of down/acid over 3 days when it occurred to me it must be my pen. I immediately flushed and bought a new pen, but the damage was done. fortunately, i still had a great harvest. That info is documented in my thread but these a'holes don't mention that, just show damaged pics

Here's a pic of an awful bud, and the awful harvest under the SE 200 and SE 250

I will post a pic of the plant I DeFoled 5 days ago soon

Here's a pic of the S600 in action.

That looks great! My bad Pet. I shouldn't have said that.
I followed you & your BML adventure closely. I saw those guys attacking you. Now that I'm here n got to know who's who & what they're about. I realize Albiqua & his foolonious faker friends don't even grow or have a clue. They talked so much shit to you w/ NO clue what they were talking about. Just bullied.
I actually felt bad for you but wasn't a member, just a reader.
That shit was redic. They attacked me when i bought the SUnCloak & Amare too. Now look at them. Sad lil but-hurt puppies that no one will accept cuz they've shown their true colors repeatedly. Fxcking jerk-offs.
I did not & will not accept that BS from anyone & also won't let them put down those people I like here either.
Your grow game is fine. You probably know more then most in this section.
I give you props.
Your BML is mostly white hu?!
I liked their Veiw-Max spectrum & thought it was the best one they offered for growing.
Well, back to work. Got Pro-4's to hang n plants to stabilize.
Peace n keep up the good work!

Here is what I get for trying to help a newb:

Here is my IM so people can see what a shill I really am...

Due to the "tiptoeing around eggshells" around here lately, when suggesting a light or type of LED diode...I just decided to send you hopefully an informed PM

There are several forum members here that have started their own LED fixture brand over the last two years....

I have run none of them, due to the fact that I am a DIY guy....but I know the tech and trying to give honest insight, but you sound smart enough to follow up and not just take my word for it :joint:

Pacific Light Concepts sells one light only and for bigger areas, this is my #1 pick.... $750, but there is a RIU discount available POSSIBLY
http://www.pacificlightconcepts.com/product/cx300/

Greengenes has been of the gurus and is his light....here is a recent pic with light overkill I know, but these are great lights with A++ tech...and you can ask him questions directly too!!!!! Good dude.

#2 Choice

Area 51 ....They have been around for the longest and 1st Proffesional LED for cannabis over 4 years ago...Now they make smaller more efficienct modules that can be linked together for bigger lights...

http://www.a51led.net/

They say they are out of stock, but an Email will make sure...Jeff aka Eraserhead is an infrequent forum member and owner.

Capt Morgain has an A51 Users Thread

#3 TastyLED

Newer, Rahz is the owner...again A++...All of these lights use Meanwell Drivers and either Bridgelux Vero 29 or Cree CXB 3070/3590 diodes...This is what makes the best of the best...What's INSIDE!

Don't have a link, but search them here, they have forum advertising...

#4 Johnson Grow Lights

Another New Company, but still the tech you want and need. Steven runs his own grow journal on here and he was recently interviewed on Heavy T's Grow Show [the show isn't my cup of tea, but you can google the episode about 4 weeks ago and Steve talks about his lights and stoof :)]

http://rollitup.org/t/cxb-8-grow-journal.891382/

His big boy CXB-8 with an Air-Cooled Hood in a 4x4...All Cree CXB3590 diodes [best of the best right now 50-55% efficient]

Feel like my spacing is off a lil. Thinking maybe a little closer together would've been the way to go. The Pro-4 has plants of footprint that I feel I put to much of on the wall. But, I'll be trying out the lenses n jacking her up about 2" higher. Different lens attachment set-up then the 450. It's definitely a Pro model. image.jpg Opened them up & now these 3 easily take up the whole space. image.jpg Dropped a trellis over them to open the & stop the branches from breaking when the weight packs on. It's not going to hold the Kings facing up that well though, but will stop them from hitting the floor w/ snapage. image.jpg Vertical trellised the end-caps of the SunCloak to support the buds. Figure the inside ones can lean against each other. image.jpg Still gotta support the Flo on the HH side. image.jpg
Plants in the Cloakimage.jpgLotta work!

Here's what happened with BML. Back in ~ January of 14 I contacted Nick as he was offering 2 separate panels: one for veg and flower panels. I had several successful grows using 5000 +3000K LED light bulbs and 4ft tubes.

I told him by combining mostly white (a mix of 6500 +5000 + 3000) and a few 450s and 625/630s that one S600 would perform well for both veg and flower, saving buyers $1000 back then.

He let me use his supplemental lighting chart to select my own blend. I didn't get what I hoped for, as all they could do was take a 12" section and multiply it by 4= 4ft x 8. This meant all the blues reds and 6500s lined up in a row across the 8 tubes, instead of spreading them throughout the footprint.

Also the diffusers are too opaque, which must reduce overall benefit a good bit. Still, it performed pretty damn well, but jealous jackals began nipping at my every post, also suggesting I was getting free lights. That was not the agreement. Nick sent it, but wanted it back when I was done. I emailed him several times to return, but I guess he was busy moving on, and had no further use for it. I recently put it back into service in my 5 x 5, but it only lighting < 2 x 4. So far, so good

Amare saw my then S600 thread and starting making negative comments about the light. I asked him to stop, as it was beyond my control. We started up a relationship. Every light he sent was returned, until the SE 220. When I was ready to send it back he gave it to me as he had improved it to the now SE 250, which I paid for. I have a P4 on order, which I am also paying for

And now you now the whole truth

Abiqua As far as I recall, I don't think he ever made any negative comments about me

Acclimated to the trellis better now.
That Pro-4 rocks & they are exactly what I needed. Next grow they'll be positioned side by side.
This grow I had to make due w/ what I had. Very grateful to Victor for getting my Pro-4's over to me. Mid-run is perfect timing. Any later would've been tough. He's a great guy to do business with. Thanks Amare!!!

I am very impressed with what DeFol has done for me, at least when I started it from day 1 of pistils

Pic 1 & 2: Alas, I missed step one on the plant under the SE 250 (my biggest plant), so her undergrowth has not developed as much as the bush under the SPYDR 600 (pic 4). I wish I had taken a pic immediately after DeFoling her. Pic 3 is the plant under the SE 220 after DeFol. Her primary leafs are getting huge again

Do not attempt this unless you are well trained in the art of doing things wrong! Lol!
I used to grow w/ cages. Totally different grow style. Huge plants w/ 5' x 2.5' cages. Worked real well & allowed me to move plants around. I've since abandoned that style for the double trellis. Usually the cage is much taller & the is there from the rip. Not good to do during week 4.
image.jpg image.jpg Could've went 4" taller but it would be running the Crush box on the AC. I'll support branches sticking through w/ plant ties when they get heavy.
Glad I De-Fo'd. If I did not then there would've been allot more Loli-popping required.

I don't get it. Why not good for using anymore? And what does the Crush box do? Keep air from blowing directly onto the plants?

Thnx homie! Yeah, I wish 2 lb plants. I don't know what these strains will produce on average to be honest. But according to my basic laws of the pot size & light, I'd say they are 8-12 oz plants throughout the room on an average.

Is it called a "Pro-4" because it's a 4' fixture? The name doesn't seem to match it physically much.
Pro-4 = 400watts.
I've never seen anything as bright as a 3590 ran @ 100 watts. They are obnoxiously bright. Ha! Like I turned it on & was shocked by how bright these cobs can actually be. Thought they were bright @ 50w, well these you just can't look at, their so bright.

Ha! Naw, it's not good to try to install the cage after the stretch & buds start to form. Risky buss. Trying not to break branches. It'll do the trick though.
The Crush box prevents a minor light leak whilst not suffocating the AC. it's the old style AC so it doesn't have much of a leak but enough for the SFV-OG plant next to the Flo to see. The new AC's are all styrofoam inside & light blares through. My friends take the new AC's back off & use blck spray paint. But that doesn't fully do it either. Only the old AC's are solid w/ little light leak. But even they have a lil. The box is working out.

sometimes, Like this grow, I need to snap the main branch/cola

Firmly squeeze the stalk in the area you need to bend (you can feel it cracking), then tie it down

Also I included a pic of my incoming water line with KJ Magnetics Fuel Magnetics: JUST DO IT
http://www.kjmagnetics.com/fuelmagnet.asp

The buds flanking the sauce jar were from a top that I had to snap last grow
