Xfer from soil to 100% perlite. Possible?

I know its possible in little plants. But does anybody think its possible/worth to transfer plants that are in 5gals soil already 3 months vegging to straight perlite. My little plants that i switche loved it. I thought it was going to die so i snipped it down and repotted to perlite in a dyi hydro. The dyi hydro didnt work but i still left it in perlite and it bounced back. This plant shows the least deficiencies compared to my other plants in soil. my other plans keep showing recurring deficiencies that's why this interests me.

i so you are going to pump water into the pots hydro ? or drip system ? what is the plan here . perlite does nor retain water it will dry out plants will dye . did you mean coco ?

it'd work in an aquatic high oxygen environment but i think your little ones are only surviving cuz they dont require a gallon of water every week like your vegging. careful. i imagine you could use a hempy bucket in 100%perlite but that's going back to the hydro teks. i mean if you're doing it in the name of science then fuck yea go for it.

I see. But doesnt perlite have some wick action or some shit like that?

yea but i dont imagine it will last very long in between watering. when they're flowering and super thirsty you'll run into some exhausting amounts of watering and lots of room for error will arise. idk for sure tho. and perlite floats so you'll get into some weirdness the more water you give them. the plant will sink somewhat while the perlite rises.

lot of nutrient issues there . and droopy . wonder what causing that ? lol you basically need to treat them like they are in hydro ph at 5 not 6.5 and water 24 times a day .

I never flowered so i can only imagine.

The only ones drooping are the ones in soil. Those are perlite cups containing clones on top of the soil.

lol oboy i wish you luck my friend. do you have one in soil still? if you crop goes sour, dont fret it, you can dry the entire plant, remove the leaves, decarb them and pulverize into a powder. they'll still get you high if you consume them. just dont bother smoking them.

nvm i see you have some in soil
