I wouldn't say that it's a bad idea to list some basic kits if they could do it without risking any liability. No ones really inspecting our assembly for example.

If anyone's doing a mixed spectrum with these which 2 did you use? Looking at the 1212 80 cri spectrum chart, 4k and 3k looks like a good mix. It's too bad they all go so low at around ~480. Not saying that's bad just comparing to hortilux blue par because that' all I have experience with. Such a high price for that spectrum though because the bulbs don't last long, are expensive and make a lot of heat. :wall:

Im still
Undecided but was wondering the same myself, probably will just go with 4x 4000k for flower and a single 6500k
For veg, that way I can retire the panel as a 5 cob veg light later, let me know which way u go, I'm curious about the same thing

Valid question about the kits
The hlg-185 48 driver discription has a nice section about how many of what cob u can run.

Also check the links in the discretion they tell u what u need.

@CobKits maybe just add in the description of the other drivers how many of what to run?

Lovin ur site, lovin ur stock, lovin ur prices

Hey bro. Great sight and great products. I was wondering about older items too. I know the clu's and 3590's are the top lights now but do you plan on offering anything else like 3070's or 2530's the online search is a bitch. It may not be for you but I really wish there was a place that sold a larger variety of this sort of stuff. Variety is expensive that's the problem. But also a one stop shop would be nice too.

i have one 3070 left im not stocking anymore until the new bins/models come out, if at all. cutter has them as does newark.

i just dont sell any crees. last 20 pack of 3070s lasted me months. by the time i sell them all they are worth less than i paid for them. crees may have been popular last year but until they catch up to the competition they are a tough sell. at least three manufacturers out there at this point with chips that beat the CXBs and are cheaper.

as a small shop you cant stock everything, so i try to focus on whats best. citis are top dog for now.

@CobKits. Looking to turn my Vero 18s into a veg light and try out the citizens. I have a hlg-185h-c1050a I'd like to use for the citizens. Any cob recommendations to get the most out of this driver? Thanks

well you have 190V to play with which is nice. you should be able to get (5) 1212s on there, or (3) 1818s or (3) 1825s

the 5 1212s would fill it the best, (and theyre cheap)

Thanks. I was thinking the 5 1212 would work the best. Now just a configuration, probably an X pattern

Just wanna say cob kits is great to work with.

Just got my 320Hs in for my newest build.

Quick delivery and great customer service.

*edit: very good pricing on the 320s, not cheapest but in US, in Stock and ballpark for other vendors pricing. Very happy.

Plus if anyone cares those 320Hs are massive.

@CobKits let me know when you get more of the 1750s, need one more for the build. I know you put in a restock order.

Thanks :)

Cobkits. Is it an error that your site says the 1818's are 36v nominal?

Thanks for the pic JPbi was just checking out the 320-1050 for 6 citis

Should be 50v as there are 6 more emitters in each series on the 1818 over the 1212. The first 2 digits represent series, last 2 parallel.

1212 - 12 string of 12
1812 - 12 strings of 18

50v is ~1.5x36v
