Slow clap for Juan Pablo. He has finally figured out the obvious. I don't know shit. I made that very clear in my first post. We get it you like LED but you havent posted a single shred of useful data. So please STFU
Data is in my Signature.

So again.. What is the price range for a 1000w COB LED setup? I already said earlier that I wouldn't be apposed to mixing the two light sources. I can see benefits in both.
Use the COB LED CALCULATOR. Super easy and tells you exactly what you want to know. Ill attach it here. That said You can make a "1000W Cob light" for about $600-650.. but thats not how you measure how well youre using them. Meaning you do NOT need 100W in a 4x4 area.

Keep in mind that the COBs in this example are being ran as hard as they can to get you the watts you want.

Got it, you weren't pretending to not understand literally anything about how LEDs work. Well, that works for this thread too. Continue.
Lmao I'm engaging options and intelligent conversation. You are posting veggies videos. I see how that helps. Looks to me like it's disguising your ignorance.

try to avert from name calling, @JorgeGonzales knows what hes talking about. As with alot of people over on the LED side.. Doesnt take well to name calling.
In fairness, I've did post video about how loving vegetables. In my defense, that is as on topic as this entire thread.

So, here are some more cute animals, as long as we are off-topic:

other than hps lol.no but really theres a ton of gavita dick waggin threads here in the led section so just search it out or prepare for another cockfest :eyesmoke:
Cant say i didnt warn ya lol.14 pages later and you probably still dont know shit about cobs.problem now is all the smarter people on led probably dont want to help you ie... @Stephenj37826 @CobKits @JorgeGonzales
Why not put some cobs over just 1 of your 3x3 trays and compare them against hps for yourself? I would bet 500w of cob over a 3 x 3 will produce more weight than any 600w hid over the same space.

Also I could give two shits if the guy "knows what he's talking about" he hasn't shown a single shred of intelligence on this thread so Idgaf about him or any other moron who is incapable of holding an intelligent conversation.

Go ahead. Post some personal experiences detailing why one is better than the other. I'll just be here waiting..
You want us to bring all the info to you here in this thread lol. Do some fucking reading and research on your own. Maybe the good doctor rivera will hook you up bwahahahahaha.

I didn't ask you a single question so yeah.. Also is that not what the Internet is for.. You know a public forum where info is shared lol. GTFO with the old "use the search button" response. You don't like the thread post elsewhere clown shoes.

Man.. For a site dedicated to sharing info and growing weed you guys a pretty high strung and bitchy. Juan Pablo is right I should leave. I've never been engaged with so many emotional whiny bitches on a weed forum in my life. I'm out.

So I've been out of the loop for the last 6 years and these Gavita lights keep coming up in conversation between some experienced growers I know. Anyone care to shed some light on them? I am setting up a bare bulb vertical grow and I was considering 3 (600)'s or two (1000) HPS in my coliseum. I have also been seeing a lot of these dual filament bulbs with HPS and MH.

blah blah blah

Also I'm not interested in running LED lights. It would not work for my style growing.
Completely wrong forum, not interested in LED lights. He fucked up posting in here, and continues doubling down on that fuckup while we get sucked into another trollfest about LED vs COBs.

The name of the sub forum is LED and OTHER LIGHTING smart ass. Learn to read.
Wow. Anyway, at least we got some solid youtube videos out of it, IMHO.
