Why and how did you start growing for the first time

I live in Turkey, which is a very strict country about any kind of drug, people think that the weed is as "dangerous" as cocaine or heroine, cause many people are ignorant and dont have an idea about what "marijuana" is. Almost all kind of drugs are under the control of the pkk which is an armed seperative terrorist group claiming territory control of the south east side of turkey, so this is one of the reasons, i know that every single gram that i bought is going to return me as a bullet, or a bomb. Second is, the dealers. Theyre almost all gipsy, or bad looking thugh guys, or looking unreliable, that makes me worried and nervous about the process of the deal, i dont know if the dealer is gonna rob me, or is gonna scam, and many times they just get the money, go somewhere else and bring the "stuff" to you, you dont even know if he is gonna get the money and runaway. Here is the 3th reason which is the most important element for me. The quality. Believe me, turkish weed might be the worst one in the world, many of them are either hermies or even males. I didnt even know that buds with seeds means male or hermy until i found the blogs and educational forums about marijuana. Stuff is really shitty, and way more expensive than the actual value. You can nearly never get a good stuff. And there is no standarts, its all up to your chance, i "rarely" get some good stuff sometimes, but many times its shitty. You dont choose the strain, you dont choose the effect or anything else, you have to buy whatever he brings you, i miss those buds in Amsterdam and Barcelona, they really rocked. Fuck this shit i said, im gonna research and find out how to grow myself properly. I believe that im one of the very few people who grows at home in turkey, and im proud of it, other people are free to keep smoking the shit they sell on streets, lol, i just roll for myself.

So what was your reason and motivation, im curious about it if you spare some time to share it :)

My motivation was I have a card that say I could so one day I got a few seeds in some great weed, rare here. So I put them in a paper towel, few days later 100% success so I planted 7 little plants. Before long they were all monsters so I researched my first HPS and it started from there. I should warn you do not start your plants until you have your flower room completely ready. My advice to you is that you build a very stealthy place to grow before you plant any seeds. You need odor control, noise control and no one can know you are growing. Figure out how to do it all yourself, I had no one and I've built rooms, hung a/c in the walls, mounted it all myself. If you can't lift it... stack it. or find a way

Hey mate, thanks for the information and well, i had several problems at the beginning, i know i shouldn't have told anyone as the first rule of it but im too excited for it, and i told my best friend to help me out to set up the system, but he is solid, never gonna mock :) besides in my opinion the weed high is better when you have someone to share with :)

I do all the work myself also. There is ALWAYS a way. Just gotta problem solve.

I`ll call everyone that`ll drop by with herb and taste everything then end of the day I call the guy that had the best and will say "one zip please"

So I said fook that, got some seeds and went from there

never looked back, 1st lot was ok auto mig 29..... 2nd batch think different, half a J was putting people to sleep

3rd went hydro and did photo plants... started outdoor stuff more too around that time, started using coco as well as hydro and soil

some years later here we are

I feel like I have to its almost my role on the earth to put down seeds

I get angry when I see people with empty space or empty land or people growing bullshit like trees and flowers

I mean people that toke up..... yet they pay a dealer, it`s one of 2 things, if you can grow and don`t, 1st your using a dealer, so your either exploiting someone that grows making them take a risk, or your supporting some criminal

Lots of sick people that need herb, lots of cunt out there that no one should sell to so they give us back the land they have so we can grow on it

Kinda sums up some of my feelings

Yeah PKK, ISIS and other such groups, they just go for money, they`ll pay whoever they need to hold the guns and fight they go for any drugs or oil field anything that`s worth money, but TBH I would not blame them the Turkish goverment are pretty heavy handed too

Think I`d just as soon go grow in the Afghan

Well mate im a opposition party supporter, and i dont stand with the goverment's politics about south east, but there is the fact of the terror, whatever happens you cannot stand with people who kills innocent children and civilians such as isis and pkk,pyd, etc. So whoever stand against them, im with them. On the other hand these massive manifactions and productions are always run by cartels, mafias, terror groups etc, so if there wasnt pkk, there could be another one. I kind of admire what they do actually. DEA busted a cannabis field last week and reported that theyve destroyed 1.5 m cannabis plants. 1.5 million, i barely grow 3 :D

Loved smoking weed, always had seeds sometimes in good smoke we had in area, planted one seed blew ppls minds and never looked back, now almost 16 yrs in

See destroying cannabis plants normally means burning, its such a waste I mean think of all that carbon, they could make rope or just compost it, but they burn it why ? Just because its against the law does not give them the right to pollute the planet to get rid of it, cunts

Plus making cannabis illegal locking up or killing people for growing it so they governments can make money from selling other drugs to its people, starts to get confusing as to who the criminals are

some jumped up gangster you can fix with one bullet all the brain washing and selfishness in the world is much harder to fix and that is the real root of the problem, greed.

I've been smoking recreationally forever until two years ago I had an aortic aneurysm. It's fixed but now I'm a medical user. My family doctor doesn't believe in it. So, I found some kid on Craigslist and was buying from him for a year. Then he disappeared. I finally caught up with him about a month later. He'd been shot in the head by some punk that ripped him off for a zip and some cash. He's ok, they caught the punk, and I ordered a complete tent kit online a week later. I just jarred my first harvest of 7oz. :)

You in a country with any kinda medical weed or medical weed laws ?

Fuck your Dr mate, if he`s good then keep him for diagnoses and normal stuff but clearly you need a hemp Dr

There are 2 kinds of Dr`s ones that think hemp can cure a problem and ones that think hemp is useless

If you can find a hemp Dr in a country with medical weed laws and get them to support your use then in court you can prove you had "need of use" in a lot of places that will go a long way in arguing a case

You can't expect someone to do without something they need, illegal or not

I completely agree with you, ive read that cannabis trees produces three to five times more oxygen than the other regular trees, and its useful for making ropes, and many more. But they burn it instead, and pollite the athmosphere, and i even saw some of the soldier on the operation took some branches for theirselves, but they didnt show it on the news of course, we caught it on youtube :)
