Everbody has a different opinion on that, it will just confuse you, it does me.
By the way your plants are looking real good
Thanks man means a lot since my first grow ever. I must have stayed up the last 3 months watching YouTube videos on growing autos. And this one guy using the same company Royal Queen seed exempt he had the northern lights strain and harvested over 14 oz off one auto!! But I have been feeding them every 4 days 1/2 nutes fox farm,cal-mag, and hydro honey I just started this week. Next time like I said it will be no more thn 5 autos and 4 gallon fabric pots. All ready have everything ready for next grow but the seeds and they are on there way as well. Same company but the strains will be jack h,northern lights, and bubble kush! Have much better medium I'm gonna be using nxt as week just fix farm and prelite. Can't wait!

For flushing I would say go organic so you don't have to haha
What's the best organic? I'm learning as much as I can as fast as I can. Been up 3 months watching every YouTube video available but still learn a shit ton everyday. Especially trial and error from my garden. Hope nxt grow goes much smoother

u-know some strains take 65 days, some up to 120 days from seed to harvest, I all ways google the name of the strain with the word grow behind it and see how long other people go before chop. I guess I am bad about being a copy cat but I am happy with it.
Hey it's whatever to get the best results and will def try that..only problem is the pot size..for some stupid reason I thought 2 gallon would be enuf for autos but I have been watching some videos guys growing autos out of 5gallon and getting massive yields. So hard to tell when everyone is using bigger then 2 gallon

You got at least 14 to 21 days mate! Watch the difference, they will explode in swelling, the fan leaves will start to change color to yellow/reddish as you flush.
So nutes for another week then 10 days plain water...
That is how the purple kush is.. It's hard as a rock and almost all hair is dark orange and receding into bud. I will send pick of it but it is my smallest plant.

They still have lots of filling out to do.
I hope so..I know all the other plants do but the one from first pic is size of water bottle and getting hard but like the guys said on my post the do still have about 30 white hairs. But I hope they never stop feeling out. The smell in there is incredible right now though..I could live in there forever loll

Looks like a few weeks for the plant in the first pic are the tricombs fully developed? They should all look like mushrooms. Do any of the trics look like Strait lines with no head?
Most have mushroom head but a few are the clear straight lines which is on the new leaves then the older ones.

Forget the triches on the leaves , that is only part of the puzzle . Triches at calyx where the THC magic happens is where to check ( on the actual bud ).

You mentioned - 58 days from germ . If you flowered at 30 odd days or so ( common with autos ) , then you are only in flowering an ACTUAL 28 days or so ..... Way early.

Forget the breeder time - it is listed for OPTIMAL GROW CONDITIONS ( like lab study ) .
Not like the regular guy...... Well , unless you got a killer setup ( balanced temp and humidity THROUGHOUT GROW , monitored feed , exact watering needs , full spectrum light conditions that mimic mother nature , etc. )

But for the rest of us , we will run longer than advertised.
So called 8 week strains are ACTUALLY 4-5 week germ to veg growth
Then preflower around 30-40 days in .
Flower transition in a week
THEN ...... FLOWERING .

I only count the actual flower transition time to harvest.
Since AUTOS are hardwired to go from seed to veg in a blink of an eye , you cant prelong it like a photo seed. So doing a count FROM beginning flower THEN counting weeks in will be more realistic.

An easy way is to grab a calendar -
Mark each week ( NOT DAY ) as WEEK 1 , Then WEEK 2 , etc.
By that time you can better judge your girl.

Getting back to yours .... It will go longer , it needs to get to swelling and adding bulk.
Those pistils will recede and continue to change , some strains will have white pistils at end too. Let her keep going.
Thanks for that in detailed analysis ! Everything you said is making sense. They showed sex about day 22 so is that what you guys mean by starting flowering or is there something else that indicates the start of flowering? And I messed up by growing them in 2 gallon pots and trying to stick 9 plants in a 4x4. Nxt grow will be max of 5 with 4 gallon pots. But I would like to show you a close up of the purple kush because almost all hairs are gone and all are orange or red. Leafs are changing a beautiful neon green and orange color and the buds are as hard as a rock! But I didn't see not 1 amber tric. Will post pic shortly but thank you for your advice sir!

add powederd organic nutes like bone meal insect frass maybe a type of guano kelp meal worm casting to the soil before you start the grow and just feed declorinated water for the whole grow no need to ph or add any nutes to the water. you can add some unsulfered molasses during flower and microbial or compost tea. look up some super soil recipes there a few floating around. for pest control i foliar spray with compost tea or microbial tea during veg and at the beginning of flower before you start to see white hairs. when foliar spraying make sure to do it a couple hours before lights on and always spray with plain decloriated the next day before lights on to wash off all the excess compost tea i learned that the hard way after screwing up a few plants.

Youll be right mate! Let them go. As others have said, base the breeders timeframe as from when the plants first started to preflower. Will be much more accurate.
Also, your strains will have white hairs come harvest. Its just how autos are.
Next grow, go 5 gallon fabric pots and keep your lights close as possible without burnin the arse out of your plants! Stops excessive stretch and promotes satellite branching tremendously. Autos love light but you must have a dark period, lots of my research says 20/4 is better than 18/6 or 24 straight hours light.
Peace out!

Never understood the flush thing. It makes no sense. So for 10 days at the most crucial time when the plant needs it most, we stop nutes. Don't get it.

And NO. You are not going to taste a difference and you CANNOT flush nutes out of buds.

The only thing that needs flushing is your body prepping for a drug test. LMAO

I like the drug test comment.
I flush as a personal choice. I start my plants on full strength nutes and feed 100% strength all the way thru my grows. I believe the flush just helps the plant start to eat itself which tends to bring out a color show. I like that.
That is all....

Also, do a side by side.
1 plant flushed, 1 not.
Ya really wont see that much difference apart from maybe a few, and i mean A FEW, more grams. (like 3) Not worth the cost of nutrient mate!

I feed til the day I chop and they turn colors when ripe. When using bottled nutes it would be costly I guess, if that's your logic, but with dry nutrients it is not bad.

True! Using dry/powdered nutes would be much more cost effective than bottled.
Either way, the dudes plants are gonna swell a shit-tonne in the next fortnight!

check in a few days i bet more will start to develop heads
Fixing to go check now, I just got back tonight from a 8 hr road trip for my daughters bday so I just now went and watered! Everyone is right they all are dating up quite nice! Lots more sugar for sure! Most hairs on ww are oranges now and leaves are changing this yellowish orange color that is bad ass! All are still getting fat tho but the smallest the PK. As matter of fact the bud c's are swollen and hairs receded! Will post pics later after I get some sleep. Thinking about starting flush on atleast 4 of the 18 plants today!

She that is only problem I'm seeing if you guys are correct about not being able to taste the diff then I would def keep feeding if it was cost efficient. Gona have to research and see what dif is and if it just one is dry and one is wet then I and everyone else that buys liquid nutes is not very smart!
