Chopper flying around

So just had the Chopper circles around my block, shined the light on me twice. Not sure what they were doing. Am I tripping ? Or how do they find outdoor gardens? I'm in cali with up to date script.

I don't think they usually do marijuana eradication flights at night but I could be wrong. Maybe looking for missing persons or a fugitive in the area. If you are following the law then no worries.

No worries! Law enforcement cannot and will not aerial spot growing cannabis at night!

I have direct experience with this! They actually need the sunlight to see the lovely emerald green from 700 AGL! (Above Ground level )

Agree with both above. Chances are they were searching for a REAL criminal by using a helicopter and a searchlight at night. As long as the perp didn't run through your yard and help himself to a few buds, you should be good.

ya if they were looking for cannabis gardens they would do it during the daytime.

You are fine.. You are in my area if I remember correctly. There has been a lot of PD/SO activity lately with a few pursuits in the area. There was also an elderly person ran down in front of Mercy the other day.. It's normal patrols man. You have nothing to worry about as long as you aren't getting complaints.

They usually call out over the speaker wanting people to stay inside. I forgot to mention the put the light on me once in my front porch and once on my back porch

Yeah bro. I was just tripping cause they shined on me twice and was circle me and my next-door neighbors. Was weird lol

Yeah I grew for 5 years a stones throw away from him. There is a major flight path there for Lifeflight, PD/SO, Commercial, and media choppers. There are also 3 AFB's within 30 min flight time in the area. LOTS of air traffic. I think I finally calmed down in the 4th year. LOL
