Sucks you don't have a loupe to look at it there super cheap and easy to get .....and it's a pretty important thing in harvesting ....to look at what you've been working so hard to achieve real close ......even handy during the grow to look for thinks looking back at you ...meaning pests or microscopic unicorns and leprechauns ......harbor freight has cheap stackable loupes that work fine .......as far as chopping id imagine your harvest window is open depending on what kind of smoke you want ....but I'd rather be sure myself than ask people to guess ......are your plants getting super wet in the morning dew?

Using the sunlight, at certain angles you can see an amberish glow wherever your trichomes are heavily concentrated, calyxes should be swollen and not many new pistils.
Without a loupe that's all I can think of, good luck

i know but buying one is just not an option for me at the moment..

im not really sure, i only check her at the end of the day, its been raining for three days now, so yea she got wet

K well that's what I thought ....some of your pistils look like they've been wet and had some heat/light/sun hit them while they were still wet causing some to get that abnormal brown burnt look ........if it's raining like crazy you can get mold/rot so you may wana take em just to save what you can ......make sure you shake any excess water after it rains ......wet buds=disaster GL

well i checked the weathercast and its going to be sunny for a week, ill check the buds for any rot or mold tommorow, if ill see any sign of that, i guess ill have to cut her and start the drying process..
