you need more light, You are confusing the incandescent equivalent with the actual wattage. You have a 23 watt and a 13 watt cfl. What type of cfl are they, daylight, soft white...

they are soft whites..using only 23w and 1600 lumens...
the box says they are 100w replacements

the lights sit about 3 inches off the plant

not sure whats goin on their but looks like you have more than 1 plant in that pot at least from what i can see it looks like you broadcasted seeds allover that pot??????? if so that's a no no thats not aluminum foil is it well i guess its ok with cfl's but thats a no no too

the aluminum is temp until i get some mylar..and all the seeds are inthe middle of the pot, i jus tied them 2 the edges so they wont be hidden under the big plants fanleaves..

no need to defend yourself just work with what ya got and try to make it the best you can oh and your brother is an ass.......just kidding:peace:

yeah he is lls..we've tried useing the areogarden b4 and he put like three seeds in the mediums..i even told him then that i was a bad idea because of the roots..how they tangle and shit.

imma jus make the best of this shit..also, i have some other seedlings that are about 2 weeks old..is it best for me to give them their own source of light so they can grow bushy instead of tall?

yes only 1 plant/pot. Also thats no where near enough wattage for that plant. I have 2 45W cfls and 1 23 watt total lumens is prolly about 7k. Even all thats about enough to manage a 2x2 space and a couple plants max
