That sucks, gotta figure out the culprit. All the time down the drain is very disappointing. I bucket pasturised mine last time. I think im going to go back to putting it in a oven bag and boiling for a few hours, thats how I did it the first time successfully.
thats how i did mine, bucket tek is ify for me, although alot of peeps have alot of success using it.

 nice!

very nice clone. I also have a few plates zstrain, but havent started a tub yet. Why do you say that is your go to culture when its cooler? B+, tressure coast and PE perform poor in cooler temps.
It's a rapid colonizer and seems to perform best compared to most my other strains in cold weather conditions is all.

Pasteurization temperatures are 160 to 180. You will kill all the beneficials and level the playing field at. 200 or above.

In fact that might be your problem. Try 170 for two hours at the core of your bucket or. Pile and make sure that none of it gets above 180.

Also check your ph. Trick likes acidic conditions. People seem to think they can pasteurized or sterilize their way out of trichoderma contamination. You can't. The stuff is utterly ubiquitous, in fact certain products are actually inoculated with it

Proper moisture, air movement and ph are your best defenses.

I started a couple tubs for my friend who has cluster headaches. He micro doses every day to prevent them. It works and so far it's the only thing that works for him and many other people apparently. I've never done shrooms I wonder what it's like? Anyways it's my first no hole monotubs. 50/50 coir/verm and some gypsum. Spawn is cracked corn. I did 2 quart jars per tub and didn't measure the bulk sub but threw a couple handfuls in there. No casing. Hows it look? I picked 5 larger ones that opened up over night and have them drying. Two different tubs. Larger fruits went into fruiting 5 days ago. Smaller ones went into fruiting 3 days ago.
Edit strain is Creeper

they look fucking delisious bru! how do you do the no holes? it seems like there was enough FAE cause i don't see any fuzzy feet, the sub looks a little wet IMO.

I just crack the lids more and more as the mushrooms grow more to give them fae. Its real easy. Once I see a little fuzzy feet I crack it another quarter inch. So just picture the rectangular container if you pop the lid and twisted evenly either counterclockwise or clockwise it will leave an even gap on the bottom left and the top right or on the top left and the bottom right corner depending on which way you turn it. As I see pins for me I go to about a quarter of an inch on each side and then I increase as they grow to about a half an inch and then about a maximum of an inch and a half. Once they get tall enough to hit the cover I just take another container and put it on top and do the same thing crack it. I just misted them so they look a little wet.

To raise the ph you can do what crappa did. Either add 5-10% of sub amount of non-dolomitic gypsum, or calcium carbonate.
ill give it a shot, spawning 4 tubs tomorrow, have bout 20 tubs worth of spawn ready to go. Just don't always have the time to pasteurize that amount of sub, gonna try spawn 6 every week after these 4 tomorrow. Hope after raising the ph and my pasteurization temp that all will go well this round.

Don't skimp on the pasteurization and don't worry about the ph of the bulk sub if your using coir and verm. One block of compressed coir bout 2 quarts of verm about a handful of gypsum then one gallon of boiling water in a bucket shut the lid and let it do it's thing. Shake it after about a half hour real good then slam it down again cover on the whole time till your ready to spawn. No contams this way. Bleach tubs real good too. And wipe outside of jars with alcohol so after the dump your hands arent contamed from the jar when you mix. Hope this helps. I'll get the monotub pics up with no holes

So as they grow I crack the lid more. Those shrooms I picked off the big fruit tub this morning. Its multispore so I'm picking as they are ready.
