Sunlight vs artificial lighting, okay so I figure that sun is the best source of energy's for the plants since it most likely has way more watts than any light on the planet but is it really the best? Because with artificial lights you can penetrate the plant from any direction and your not just limited to the top... Also have y'all noticed any significant differences in yield doing it either way or density of the buds? Would it be best to use both natural and artificial lights? Thanks for your time and support! Grew in a fair size greenhouse for awhile.. the sun trumps all grow lights... but on a cloudy day we would run the hps in the middle of the photo period for 4 hrs... amazing combo!!

Ahahaha okay great that's awesome to hear, plus cheaper electric bill! Good deal... Yeah I bet the hps was a nice substitute great thinking... I only have CFLs so I leave them on my autos all night while leaving my feminized flowering plants outside... Seems to be working fairly well. Appreciate the quick replies thanks for the info!

heck yeah if you can put them out side and bring them in at night a lot of people do this and they can get so big they use machines to move them in and out .

Well seeing as it's commercial break on the cowboy game...

I can actually throw a lot more light than the sun just by lowering lights. It does however have better penetration and spectrum as well as uv.. Of course you can mimic this to an extent as well indoors.

Density of bud. Indoor for me.
Yield outdoor.

The light has traveled a hell of a long way..penetrating the top to the bottom of a plant is not going to be a problem

Let's go! These are my gals, I got the pink diesel x Amnesia, Chroniclights, auto critical, also assassin they are growing really nice pink amnesia is furthest along in flower she started week 2 at first thought it was a hermi this is a crazy plant yo after I pulled the balls off she just took off and there isn't any just fat calyxs and pistils shooting out everywhere its a really nice strain I toped and supercroped once maybe the stress caused the sacs... I switched chroniclights to flower 2days ago and auto critical is in flower under 24hr light looking really nice! I would post more pics but it literally takes an hour on this girls phone...shiity internet I need a come up lol, what's the expected yield off a plant that vegged for 3weeks? Jw lol they're outside and I use miracle grow garden soil mix with some manure and clay plus sand, then I use foxfarm trio as nutes... What can be expected?

When I was supercooling chronic lights it broke vertically in 4 places up the main trunk... Is this bad? Should I just top or see if she recovers?
