REGARDING AUTO's!!!
1) Transferring Auto's will stunt their growth....
2) Auto's will produce the same under 12/12 as 18/6, 20/4, or 24/0....
3) Flushing Auto's is a waste of time...
4) You should plant the seed with taproot facing down...
5) Fox Forest is the best over the counter soil for most Auto's...
6) Auto's will produce the same in 1gal pots as 5gal pots...
7) Auto's need a long narrow pot for roots to reach full potential...
8) An experienced grower should be able to pull at least 3oz from most auto's
9) You can't clone autos....
10) Auto's are not as potent as pheno's....

1) yes transplanting in my experience did stunt their growth, but moreso with a seedling than the 3week olds that were root bound. That being said start in final container!
2) no I believe if your looking for max production than you should use 24hr light, but many disagree and say that they need a sleep period, I am aware that there's a point that they can't receive anymore light, but how do we know when that is?
3) flushing period is a waste of time and especially for autos when your goal is max yield, you don't want to overeater and stunt growth or deplete them of nutrients.
4) yes the taproot should Always face down!
5) nah I just used some generic miracle grow garden soil lol but I'm a cheapo
6) probably since there lifespan is so short, I got mine in 5 gal just in case though.
7)not to sure if the shape of a pot really matters...
8) Atleast!
9)Nope sure can't...
10)lieees

you can clone autos, you just can`t make them clones veg for ages

you have to be quick by node 4/6 the clones are much harder to take

Bigger rootzone bigger plants

dumping autos right into a big flower bed when you have long days is the best way to get the most from them cos they will flower outside in places where the days are too long for a photo plant to flower

1. True to an extent. I pop seeds and wait a week with them in a tray. I have stunted them doing it sooner.
2. Not sure. I see good journals for many light schedules.
3. This is more of a flushing debate than autoflower.
4. Pointed side down on any seed greatly increases chances of survival. They waste less time and energy finding the surface.
5. Not sure.
6. I see journals of larger pots producing more, but they also have less plants per light. Meaning more yield per plant.
7.My roots grow horizontally in a long and narrow pvc pipe, I am happy with their size so far. A lot of growers tell me the plant growth mimics the roots. My autos grow the same bush with top cola as they do in soil pots that are vertical.
8. I can't but I am not very experienced in autos. So I am sure its true lol.
9. You can clone but it does not start a new life for the clone. Get a little bud on a twig I am guessing.
10. Older autos are less potent. Some really good strains out now. Very potent, but I am sure they cannot break a thc record. Thc is not the only cannabinoid either...

Your saying you can turn an auto into a photo?
I`m saying with GA3 you can make pretty much anything veg under any lighting times with in reason

I`ve made autos and photo`s grow like crazy under 12/12 or 10/14, and I`m talking full in bloom with buds 6 weeks into flower plants

you risk balls, but that`s to be expected when playing god

if you over do it you can end up with a grape vine looking plant that`s a few meters long in a week or 2

Spraying it works better than watering with it but doing both is better if you get a stubborn one

Then triacontanol will settle it back down if it don`t settle down naturally

Getting Photos to flower over 14 or 16 hour days is harder than getting autos to veg more........

Here's my 2cents...
1) I plant directly into my 5gal smartpots just to be on the safe side...
2) I use the 18/6 method just because it seems the best overall choice for the plant & also for me (nosy neighbor)
3) I did not see any difference when I tried flushing...
4) I plant with taproot facing down
5) I use FFOF with some Auto's & I use a FFHF/FFOF combo with some other Auto's that tend to burn with just FFOF
6) I use 5gal pots but I've heard people that I respect say that they get the same with 1gal pots...
7) I have no idea, but I read where people say this alot...
8) I'm not that experienced but I've been getting 3-4oz from my Autos
9) I've never tried, but the consensus seems to be that you can if you know what the fyuk you are doing....(I DON"T)
10) I think this was true a few years ago, but today I think Auto's have really come a long way and are now comparable...

I'm curious about number 6 also, I've read that too, mostly in replies to other post (experienced growers), using 1 gal pots, even 1 gal ziplock bags?! Still awesome plants/yield and I almost feel dumb using a 7 gal pot for an auto. I am having to water a 7 gal pot everyday still (huge plants), I can't imagine a 1 gal, seems like it would need watering twice a day... I actually just started a seed in a 2 gal pot to see if I can still pull 3 oz like last time in the 7gal.

Keep me posted. I'm thinking about putting some seeds in 1gal & 2gal pots along with my 5gal pots next grow just to see....
