open hood parabolic vs air cooled

shit fuck . just got a bad reviews on a free sample . fucked me . ok . so I am seriously thinking of switching to open parabolic hoods . I always used 8 inch cool tubes and raptor xxxl and messing around a bit took the glass off a raptor hood . the spread to my eye looks just as bright and it spreads out about a 5/5 area raptor xxxl about 4/4 glass on . did not realize how much this thick glass kills the light . there could be a heat issue in peoples gardens . but for me that extra foot is huge . the extra spread will pay off in the long run down side the ac will run more often . but could go back to air cooled in the summer . who is using open hood or parabolic hoods ? your thoughts .

if you can control the heat . do it don't forget to raise the hood higher feel for heat

That's why I have not done it yet, no way to keep the heat down

I have bad reviews . its my fault. last 2 months ago it was 95f out side very humid . I was murdering the e bill to keep humidity under control I let the temps sit at 85 pay the price later . and I did pay the price later ! weak loose . next summer I may just shut it down if its expose to be fucking 95 99 f every day for 2 months .

have to have a dedicated ac . for sure or vent it out side . can just let your hose suck the hot out side instead of pushing air into the light if you will . turn your fan around it will vent the entire room out side . just take the glass of see if its worth all the work .

lol 500 just for the ac and dehumidifiers . and it was not 75 . but 85 . but 99 out side . so 500 plus all the lighting and the house so on . well over 500 lol
