Will pulling off pistils of a pre flower hurt the grow?

pre calyxes closest to the aprical meristem are fine ....anything on a terminal bud site is a no-no....don't pick the buds just the pre calyxes.....and this is to say if you really need or want to....dont go fucking around too much, but a pinch here and there won't harm the plant to he point of noticeable reaction.

Not Ready....but starting....see how it looks shrunk there. It will swell with resin gland.

You can see right above those there are swelling calyx's that have been pollinated.

Bro do not pull those preflowers off. You absolutely do not want to pull of the base of your soon to be forming buds. There are maybe a select few that you can pull mostly on the stem but seeing that you have to ask this question id advise you absolutely do not pull them off and ruin a whole flower formation. Be patient brother
