which light should I use from to finish?

I have a autoflower plant that just sprouted 2 days ago. I have her underjust a single 6500k cfl for now. I will be using just a small 2x2x5 tent. I have 3 lights to choose from. I was wanting to know which light would be better to use from start to finish? I have a 90w ufo light. I have a mars hydro 300w led. I also have a 150w hps. Should I use one of these lights from start to finish? Or should I use a led light till flower then use the hps light? Could I use the hps from start to finish?

you could use hps from start to finish and that's probably what will yield best of those choices (from what i've read)

^was only basing that off of people's general disappointment w/mars and that hps is just good period.

didn't mean to try and steer you wrong if Mars 300 is the answer :p

Both good choices. HPS are known to give a high yield but at only 150w the Mars 300 beats it. Not sure what your exhaust system is like but the LED cut down on a lot of heat as well. It might be worth the it to use the HPS for its heat if you are going into the winter months and don't have an alternative heating source.
I had the same 2x2x5 tent set up. Because of the size and how you only just started your grow I would suggest a Screen Of Green instead of one plant. Even with LST it's a more efficient use of space in a small tent. Its not that hard to set up.
Autoflowers are perfect for ScOG because the aren't met to get that big. Even just two more plants would give you a full 2x2 screen of bud, perfect for that Mars 300.
Just an idea if you had more seeds

Hello thank you for the reply. I do have more seeds. All the same strain. So for that size tent, how many plants?

No more than 4. Make sure to start ScOG early. The plant you already have sprouted will be farther ahead of your others but that will actually be handy when deciding harvest time.
Also I didn't ask but are your seeds feminized? Obviously you need them to be all female, you can always cut out a male from the screen but there goes a quarter of your harvest.

Hello yes they are female seeds. I have grand daddy purple autos. Is it a good idea to scrog autos or does it not matter? what size pots would you use. I have 1 gallon pots.

seems like your HPS would work better for flowering.if your running 4 plants in that space you won't have much room for training or scrog.cfls are more effiecient than the mars hydro and would work better for vegging

so all three of your lights only pull about 350 watts total,, that is good for a 2x2 tent,, and they would all fit in there,, why not run them all, I know guys who pull 8 ounces from 2x2 tents with 300 watts,,

Go with 3 Gallons. I don't think four 5gal will fit in a 2x2 unless they are narrow. Autos are perfect for ScOG. Not sure what your overall plan is but autos can go 24/0 from sprout to harvest in around 90 days. They won't have a lot of time to get big and won't need a 5gal. Go with fabric smartpots by the way.

2x2 is plenty of room for a ScOG. What is your reasoning that is 150w HPS is better than his Mars 300? CFL's are definitely not more efficient than the Mars 300 other than maybe total power draw, but he would get a far smaller harvest.

that is for him to figure out, my chrystal ball broke years ago,, but he can fit more than one,, and I would find a way to max the PPFD

The 300 MarsHydro light is only 132+/- True watts. Like Tim Fox said both the 150w HPS and the Mars would only draw 282 watts together if you could manage the heat in your space. Using them both would give you better yields i'm sure. I have a 2.5'x4'x5' tent that i run 550 watts of MarsHydro in and they produce A LOT of heat and i still can control the heat with my 4" inline fan.
