Supprised not to have seen more of this here and since it seems to be quite a wide ranging methodology general gardening seems to be a good place for a discussion.
For starters the formulations seem to have some basis in science, plant biology, nutrient needs etc. But having trouble wrapping my head around filling an animal stomach with herbs and burying it feels a little pegan like.
Planetary and lunar cycles - for whatever reason I feel like I see some impact like an increase in new growth under a full or nearly full moon in an indoor garden! More "research" seemed to indicate ascending/descending and perigee/apogee are more important.
A calendar that includes times of when to or not to do things based on astrological allignments.
I'm pretty open minded so I'll ask if anyone has tried any of this?
