I wanna grow 8 plants 4 autos and four reg fems I plan to scrog the 4 FEMS after the autos are done any advise? Soil organic grow. 7gs for FEMS 3gs for autos.

I got a 3x3 vivo sun tent off amazon for $89 US and the local grow shop wanted $200 for a secret jardin. The vivo sun tent is nice quality for the price and better than I expected.

As far as growing tips, this forum has a lot of great information just use google search to find topics if RIU search isn't hitting on what you're searching for. The indoor growing section has several threads in which good folks share their experiences growing in tents. Cheers and happy reading

Ya 4×4 vivosun+ Apollo or vivosun hps combo with a cool tube. >250$ on amazon. I'll tell you as a newbie with 5 different strains going it's a pain in the ass! Each plant has separate needs you can fill a tent with 2 plants of I try to get similar phenos if I could go back in time. Autos are sensitive and any trauma loses yield photo periods are more forgiving.

Also I power 4" carbon filter 40$ 6" 60$ in line fan and controller another 45$

I bought a similar setup back when I first started indoor. In my climate I quickly determined that I needed a cool tube or air cooled hood with 6 inch exhaust.

Yea I planned on doing a cool tube either way but I thought 1k w hps would be best light for a 4x4 are y'all saying I should stick with a 600

What do you suggest to run in a 4x4 cool tube no matter what

I use those types of hoods
and i would also have another lighting set-up that you can "back-up" or use as supplimental lighting in the flowering room i assume your asking about? right? I'd try to get as much spectrum to them as possible so maybe a adjustable t-5 w at least 4 -4ft tubes in it?

Then every week i like to rotate my plants from one side of the space to another, if there are ladies not as high as others they tend to be in the middle, and the taller ones tend to be on the outside area of the space. You will also need to bear in mind some inline fans have 4 in openings, some 6-in openings.....lowe's or home depot have adapters made out of galvanized steel that work great if you need them.

I started with 600 watt and quickly upgraded to 1000w., but then I decided to upgrade to a 5 x 5 tent, not because the 4 x 4 didn't do well, but because I wanted to increase my yield. I have since upgraded again. It depends on what your goals are. I have bought a lot of equipment that I no longer use. Plan wisely to save yourself some money. The 600 will certainly give you what you need for a personal supply.

rule of thumb is really 600w for 3.5' x 3.5' but there are so many variables. I could never have kept 1000 watts cool in my 4x4 in the spare bedroom for my first grow with no experience.

And I yielded almost a pound of northern lights under the 600 and it was good because I had my temps in the mid 70's the whole cycle.

try to get fast finishing autos if you're going to be doing all this in one tent, they can finish under 12/12 but they do better if you can keep them on 18/6 or even 20/4,
