Having two rooms/tents is where it's at. In my 4x8 flower room I have plants that started 12/12 under my 1000w HPS almost 6 weeks ago. On Monday, I'll move in new plants to the other half of the flower room under an 800W, DIY COB with 16 CXB3590s. Outside of the flower room I have 4x4 tent that is always at 18/6. I veg and keep clones/mothers in there. I'll do an autoflower in there in a few months. Clearly the biggest benefit to 2 rooms is having two different light schedules. Once this new room is dialed in I have a much smaller tent where I'm going to try breeding but that's probably a good year away.
Good deal sounds like you got a cycle going.
Your clones root quick on 18/6?
I used to run 18/6 8 or 10 years ago and thinking about switching back, no reason really. I think I took the timer for something else and just never put one back. Under 24/0 my clones root in like 10-14 days, usually transplant em after 3 weeks. How bout yours?
As for breeding, I do that just with my 2 rooms. I alternate the flowering times so my maroon crop doesn't get pollenated.
I will put my male and host female in the flower room in 1 gallon pots off to the side out of the way about 2 weeks before my main crop finishes. The pollen doesn't effect my main crop then I just wait 2 weeks before putting my next crop in, taking the male out at that time vacuuming and spraying the room down with peroxide. Any residual pollen is pretty well gone at that point and then 2 weeks later my next main crop is chugging along wroth the seed crop tucked in the corner, just a small plant. Timing is everything. Hope it all works out for you. A separate breeding room would be awesome but I work with what I got, ya know
