Citizen 1818 looking at the mechatronix megaCree or Vero?
I would highly suggest Pin Passive heatsinks
Good choice. Why the mechatronix mega over Pin Fins from Northern or CobKits?Citizen 1818 looking at the mechatronix mega
The mega is a pin fin and rated for 85 watts also looking at ice led just can't make up my mindGood choice. Why the mechatronix mega over Pin Fins from Northern or CobKits?
I would rather pay a bit more for good customer support. I have had so many issues getting a refund or returning things.High five!
CobKits is selling Pins for cheaper than the mega. Same with Northern just so you knowThe mega is a pin fin and rated for 85 watts also looking at ice led just can't make up my mind
SK actualy did put their fixture in a sphere. Or more accurately, Cree staff did when they performed a TEMPO test.
i looked up their etl, sk600 is not one of the models listed as far as i could seeGot to give them credit for that.
Important pages:
7 - ETL certification, checked and it is valid so we know it is safe.
10 - Radiant Flux is 121.7w. Using 441.6w as input power, that means it is ~27.6% efficient. That should be more accurate than spreadsheet calculations.

Well because I'm not a total LED geek and I thought maybe there was the possibility that someone out there might have a new idea that people here might not know about yet and be interested in discussing. I have no horse in this race. I use Timber Grow Lights presently, but I'm always interested in learning more about new lights, too. The oil cooled thing made me think that if the emitters could be kept cool enough then they would run more efficiently....but I was surprised by the "92% efficient" and "medical grade drivers" claims. He follows up and says "Out of the 640 watts, you get 600 watts of light and 40 watts of heat". That seems pretty efficient. No it's not 95% efficiency... Why do you even feel like you need to ask when common sense says no?
thats the same company with less outrageous claims, but still not accuratehttp://www.brightlightled.net/300w-led-high-bay.htm
personal i would buy from the guys who make there lights just look under the product specs tab amd read under the item list right at the bottom you'll see it lol
I have emailed them there prices are a little more normal if you must buy this crap
p.s only light i thought was ok was there closet case series
were not shooting you, were informing you. thats a lieHe follows up and says "Out of the 640 watts, you get 600 watts of light and 40 watts of heat". That seems pretty efficient.
Don't shoot the messenger.
no shit it's a lie thats the best light ever 40 heat watts outta 640 damnwere not shooting you, were informing you. thats a lie
horticultural stuff is always uber taxed, nothing new. contractors are smarter than to pay over a grand for a highbay lightit may be still just bad business cause the lights were a few hundred cheaper lol i said if you must xo
I'm curious to see your buds... I run 600 watts in a 4x4 & feel like I need more light... don't be upset if they're not what you expectedI'm a noob this my first grow I know nothing about efficiency but I like the way my plants respond to the spectrum king closet cases at only 400 watts in. 4x 8.
I would actually like to see an independent party test it before I buy the 600 these are my ladies at 6 week veg under the closet cases
