Does this rule apply to cfl lighting?
If I have over 200 watts of light will I yield over 100 grams?

200 real watts or 200 watt equivalent? With 200 real watts you'll be lucky to get 100g. Very lucky indeed. When you get to flowering buy yourself a 150W hps security light for overhead and ring the plants with a mix of 2700K and 6500K CFL bulbs and then you might break 100g.Does this rule apply to cfl lighting?

I would love to but expensive and more heat to stand out to the feds I got a 4x2x6 foot box in trying to build up check it out im just unsure how and where to place my cfls untill get a few grows in and save for a hydromars 300x2 or a 600w200 real watts or 200 watt equivalent? Or get yourself a 400W proper grow light and kick some ass compared to CFL.
Besides everyting oldmeduser said Imho 4x2x6 need more then 200w to grow proper plants. In that space minimum I would use is 400w I would want 600w in thereI got just about 200watts in cfls currently but this first grow doesn't count due to plant was given to me half dead and going into flowing prematurely but threw 5 bag seeds germinating right now to throw in with my flowering baby that gots about 4-6 weeks till harvest got a pest issue just popped up today again they back with vengeance smrh but sorry off subject so with cfls what wattage per gram would be average??
I want and would love to poet everything of and about my box and your questions but my phone sucks balls on top or only half the screen doesn't work irs blacked out or distorted with color lines so do me a huge favor save me the torture and go to my grow journal called blue berry kush bag seed but i got 8x23w bulbs eqiv to 100 watts and I got two 100watt regular dome cfls not the spirals like the 23 watt bulbs.. Also I have one 10w unless its a 13w but irs just a socket connected to a cord so just hangs which i have two more I just wired that I need to install either gonba either be the smaller10-13w bulbs or can do 100w regular CFL dome bulbs like above along with my second exhaust PC fan needs installed the box runs way to hot for my liking. But check out the journal she also have.some additional into in "advancing the grow box" thread I made as well.. I'm rocking soilless medium coco and air pebbles which I can't think of the name right now drawing a blank lol this second night no sleep -_- but I'm kinda unsure of the size of the pots anywhere from 3-5 gallon pots maybe bIgger but doubt it how ima grow the new plants that are in germination ima to 4-6 weeks from seed in veg 18 hours of light j want tk top them 1-4 times and lst them then transplant to bigger/second/final pot haven't decided if ima force them with 12 12 to show sex then reveg for two more weeks with 18 hours or light then flip back to 12 12 till harvest.. Otherwise might just do straight 12 12 from seed and still top and lst otherwise wont top and just lst or just let them grow with one big top cola and not do anything just take care of them and use my dyna gro nuirsIt really is impossible to give any kind of accurate estimate of yield for anyone's grow other than my own and it's still just ball park and can be 50% out either way. I won't have a close estimate until everything is finished trimmed and in boxes for drying. One quarter of the wet weight is almost dead on.
How many lights make up this 200W? How large a grow space are you using? How do you plan to grow them? Nutes? Pot size? Dirt or soilless? Just a few of the things that will effect the outcome.
If everything goes well and the plants get decent food, air, light and water I think 2- 3 oz is a realistic, albeit optimistic, guess. I usually get 2-3 oz off a plant grown in a 4gal pot using hydro nutes with Big Bud and a $100 400W flowering bulb. 4 -5 oz off the same plant grown in DWC and 8+ oz with DWC Scrog using two 400s for the last two grow types.
With bag seeds for your plants it's a real crap-shoot. Statistically 2 will be boys but all could be either sex or just one boy or just one girl. Bag seed is often the product of a hermie plant and if so at least half of what grows will likely be hermie as well.
All you can do for now is get them growing healthy and figure things out as you go along.
Lmho?? And yes ofc needs defiantly more wattage going on but no funds atm and was going along as I was growing the current plant that was given to me dead and I brought her back to life and she is a trooper for how bad she was when I got herBesides everyting oldmeduser said Imho 4x2x6 need more then 200w to grow proper plants. In my humble opinion is what it means. If you dont have enough light you will not get tight buds.Lmho?? Heat to stand out to Feds? Are you Dutch? In Holland they do bust grows by heat......I would love to but expensive and more heat to stand out to the feds I got a 4x2x6 foot box in trying to build up check it out im just unsure how and where to place my cfls untill get a few grows in and save for a hydromars 300x2 or a 600w
I'm going to look into this soon. if I don't lose yield then why notif you get the right ones i think you can get comparable results out of slightly less wattage with a smaller cooling bill. as soon as i can afford it i'm sure going to try. i'm planning on starting off with a 300 watt cob array and running it against the 600 hps and seeing what i get. i don't expect 300 watts of cob to equal 600 watts of hps, but i'm expecting it will be at least the equal of a 400-450, and will need less cooling
i'm hoping 400 watts of cobs in a good array will equal a 600, we'll see, eventually
