The yellowing Started under the cfl's, put them under the 750 watt MH and they seem to love it the yellowing hasn't improved, but haven't got worse. They are in Pro-mix with 30% perlite 30% EWC. Temps are 69-73 degrees. Light is roughly 3 feet away, maybe 3 1/2 ft.

How old are they? Are you giving them nutes? Have you checked ph?

Haven't fed yet, they are 10 days old. Haven't ph the water, the only thing I had handy that wasn't straight tap water was bottled water I have used before for watering, if I recall the ph was 6.3, I will check on my lunch break to make sure that's what it is, I haven't had problems with it ever though.

Could it be early stages of Ca deficiency? Or iron? I'm going off of a book and those are the only two pictures that match, hope I helped a little lol

I was thinking something along those lines, the water is filtered/purified. I'm betting the roots haven't breached the peat plug and cotyledons have been expended. Im currently aerating 5 gallons of tap water I will use that on my next water, or should I start with a kelp feed?

I've always heard to feed after 2-3 weeks and at 1/4-1/2 strength. If they're old enough I'd put the nutes in with your water. If you're using organic aerating your water with worm castings, guano, kelp, ect will leech the good stuff out and you have conpost tea. It'll only keep for a day MAYBE two if you're lucky. I use Jacks and aerate the water with the nutes

It looks to me that you used peat pods to start your seedling and in the past I've run into high acidity levels which can cause yellowing in really early stages of growth if you would have started your plants in there final pot you planned on growing in and not used peat pods but right in soil you will be much further along TRANSPLANTING is such a waste of time but until your roots pass the cloth on the pods it will thrive
