Hello fellow growers! I'm baaaaaack!

Hey rollitup! I go by Duchie here and after a lengthy hiatus from growing I've thrown myself right back into it recently and I'm so happy. Up until now the law didn't permit me to grow and my living arrangements weren't the greatest for growing. Well things have changed, including the laws up here in the great white north, and I am now a fully legal, Medical MJ grower and I couldn't be more happier or relieved. Let me tell you a bit about me and then I'll get into my grow and what I'm doing.

So, I'm Canadian, I'm around 50 and I've been smoking cannabis since 1978, when everything was landrace. I started growing mid 2010, just before I joined RIU, and because of a lot of help here, and some great friends I've met here, I think I've come a long way. I am by no means an "expert" horticulturalist. There's a hell of a lot that I don't know, but I've spent a lot of time learning some stuff and I do pretty good by it.

I don't have any set regiments or watering schedules. I don't read ppm's or anything like that, other than basic ph, and I pretty much go by feel and by the seat of my pants. I grow with organic mediums and nutrients along with probiotic stuff like EM's, which I'm short on these days but will be remedied soon.

I have some good friends associated with Breeders Boutique; it's mostly all I've ever grown and all I plan on growing for some time. I will be throwing some other things in there, of course, but for the most part, you will see BB stuff (or some derivative of, from special friends.) here.

To start I have in Flower, day 6 after a 6 week veg: Dippy Ellsy and Psycho Killer (backcross). Out of 8 I have 5 girls and three boys. 3 Dippy's and 3 PK's.

In B Garden I have 8 that are day 25 veg, being 3 Jake's Dream and 5 Jake Blues X Jack the Ripper.

So, I have lots of photos to get ready so I hope you can hang around for a while as I chip away at laying my garden out and we'll go from there.

First of all, I'll share some recent work I did with a few of my first plants. I work as a photographer by day, and night and whenever the hell I want, so I did a quick lighting setup the other day and photographed a couple of the lookers. Here they be. Now, these are my work so copyright does apply. I have no problem if you'd like to use it, please just ask and tell me what you're using it for so I don't just run across it somewhere (which has happened to me a couple of times with my regular work) and wonder WTF! I know I can't really police this shit but I'm just asking as a common courtesy. Thank you in advance.

Thank you and thanks for stopping by! I should clear up that we're not legal up here yet as far as recreational goes. It's coming but we're not exactly sure when or what it will look like. For me, and others here like me, it was a change in MMJ regulations that allows those with a prescription from a health care practitioner to grow there own at home, or have a designated grower do it for them. I'll get into more of that later, I'm sure, but basically I'm prescribed 5g per day which allows me to grow 25 plants indoors, veg and flower, total. I have a dry storage limit of 1125g. My carry limit when out is 150g.

O ok. Thanks for the clarity. I do understand, I used the wrong word (the big L one) sounds similar to here In California. Im also a medicinal patient. in my county I'm allowed 12 plants, 24 max at my house me and my significant other have scripts. I do enjoy the medical laws and the protection it gives. Recreational is on our ballots Il be voting next week. Very interesting changes for the future.
