Gotta love the kid that just joined the forum last week that never grown a single weed plant that thinks he knows everything about growing I bet you don't even smoke weed.Youre spewing child like assholery.
No mate budmaster a uk based company use like 12 little osram cobs to get a better spec per lenseAnother thing to realize about LEDs is that the leading LED manufacturer is moving away from COBs and powerful chips, and they are focusing their efforts on light bulbs for your house and small chips, there's no manufacturer that has the skill and desire to make horticultural based chips, these LEDs are high bay street lights, basically they are where HPS started back in the 1980's.
Too many lies and false claims, LED users need their safe space right?I've been growing with hid since 1972... It did and still will produce weight... But cob leds are the new kid on the block
and are here to stay... why all the animosity? we're all potheads.. Right? Just agree to disagree.
lol where you steal that picture of larf buds 420 mag?You are a failure at logic, at using technology and at being worth a shitView attachment 3819135
maybe cree sees that their is no future in horticultural LEDs. bridgelux led are cheap and inefficient but will continue to be used in cheap chinese grow lights because LEDS still have that "star wars appeal". the price of these lights is getting low enough on EBAY to be attractive to those who don't do their research.Bridgelux is el cheapo for LEDs, you want cree to be doing the R&D they are the big fish in the LED pond.
Doesn't bridgelux make epistar and epiled's ? They are pretty much the worst quality LED on the market but like you said, people want those mars hydros and viparspecta lights for some reason...maybe cree sees that their is no future in horticultural LEDs. bridgelux led are cheap and inefficient but will continue to be used in cheap chinese grow lights because LEDS still have that "star wars appeal". the price of these lights is getting low enough on EBAY to be attractive to those who don't do their research.
Your post screams bruised pussy. Clean yourself up and go back to Xbox, Nellielol where you steal that picture of larf buds 420 mag?
If your building it correctly you can cover whatever space you want.I have a nice LED setup 2x area 51 RW150, and 1x home made CXA2590 x 4 with 660 + 680 + 730 diodes (all bridgelux) , still can't compete with my 600w hps cause the coverage sucks and the lack of intensity.
No they dont. China suppliers like to lie alot to gain customers.Doesn't bridgelux make epistar and epiled's ? They are pretty much the worst quality LED on the market but like you said, people want those mars hydros and viparspecta lights for some reason...
Par watts can be compared to any light as at Rahz stated.like lumens PPFD or PPF are biased measurements. one photon at 400nm has 1.75 times the energy as a photon at 700nm so a light that produces a lot of red light is going to have a higher photon count than a light that produces blue light if the radiant energy is the same.tri band LEDs (450,630,660 nm) produce a high PPF rating but are not great for growing plants. spectrum and radiant power are the best way to compare plant lights and the absorption spectrum also needs to be considered
I cannot agree if someone is so wrong that it hurts newbies trying to learn.I've been growing with hid since 1972... It did and still will produce weight... But cob leds are the new kid on the block

There are several threads and YES COBS need more Cal MAg for sure.Stop the bashing n start the cob talk I've been reading alot into par as of late and would love to here some good thoughts/help like is ur plant more mag def prone or is that a myth ?
Not surpised. Mars was good to me. Upgraded to COB though for better PAr watts.View attachment 3819143 View attachment 3819142 That sugar punch was grown under a mars
