Going from HPS to LED. Worth it?

This is under one 89w unit. Not even 100w of light and I have excellent growth and trics all over my still-veg'ing fan leaves. The light is about 16" from the plant. 5 weeks from seed. What does that tell you, @Budley Doright? @a mongo frog?

It tells me you got a hold of riddles seeds lol. I take it from your failure to answer my "how many runs" question this would be your first huh? Think we've been around this track before lol.

That isn't Rid's. That's HSO Lemon Garlic OG, bro.

I did answer. I said about 4 runs with panel LEDs. First with COBs. WAY past where I would be using two "450w" Vipar Spectras, using only one 89w COB.

Sorry I'm losing track of these post, there popping up faster than Orville's popcorn. So the quality is better with the COB? The only reason I'm switching is to see for my self and yup I'll probably wait until atleast my plants are finished before I say their better but hey again that's just me :).

Quality is better with COB? In comparison with Panel LEDs? Exponentially, I say. I also prefer my emitters driven higher than most others here. Most people run theirs at 700-1650mA. I run less emitters at the higher amperage of 2150mA. The CXB3590 3500k is rated for up to 3600mA.

lol you got to be kidding right ? i man seriously. How many watts lol..

Seriously i would back off the the feed looks like the claw is taking hold
Curious how old is that plant lol
89w, only about 80 of light. 5 weeks. And I was getting used to the strain. The N will work itself out. It's old N tox and isn't burning, so it'll be fine.

It isn't the lights though, it's just genetics.

This is Sour Sunset, under a crappy T8 GE fish tank bulb (15w).

The GSC/Sherbet leaning phenos all have trichs, the Sour D phenos do not.

It wouldn't bring out the genetics properly if the light was not optimal. And my plant from Rid is doing it, as well.

Maybe you should just advise someone who cares for your mediocre opinion. I know what I'm doing.

I would like to see someone get this growth under 100-250w of HPS in 5 weeks. Let's see who can do it. Then we'll see watt for watt which technology's supposedly better. Because an 89w COB shouldn't be able to pull more than a 250w HID, right?

That guy never used an hps and he's on his first run with those lights and only used a shit vipar or mars light before, so he's really unknowledgeable but he speaks like he's some kind of weed guru i'd just ignore him.

Prove to me that I have no idea what I'm talking about?

Like I just said, take a 250w HPS--which I HAVE used--and tell me in 5 weeks it can get the growth of that 89w COB.

And I never used Mars.

For not knowing what I'm talking about, I seem to have a lot of approval and support.
