Going from HPS to LED. Worth it?

Prove to me that I have no idea what I'm talking about?

Like I just said, take a 250w HPS--which I HAVE used--and tell me in 5 weeks it can get the growth of that 89w COB.

And I never used Mars.

For not knowing what I'm talking about, I seem to have a lot of approval and support.
I don't know shit.
The more I learn, the dumber I feel... o_O

You have had 1 grow you admitted it and your only grow was with a mars or vipar panel, all you do is speak about shit you don't have any experience with.
One? What the fuck are you talking about? I have 4 complete, with two documented here in my blog, and two plants in the 3rd run. I have about 15 plants elsewhere. And again, I have never used Mars.

If you're going to stalk me, at least pay the fuck attention.

My first grow was a single plant using 1 240w Veg and 1 500w Bloom Lighthouse Hydro BlackStars. My second one was elsewhere. Third, two plants under two ViparSpectra 450s, and I have a quarter of my fourth grow finished as well, under Vipar Spectras and BlackStars.

This is my fifth grow, first under the COBs.

I think he's referring to the COB grow that is superior to anything yet

Quality is better with COB? In comparison with Panel LEDs? Exponentially, I say. I also prefer my emitters driven higher than most others here. Most people run theirs at 700-1650mA. I run less emitters at the higher amperage of 2150mA. The CXB3590 3500k is rated for up to 3600mA.
Was yours not a kit? Didn't it actually come with the driver and chip?

I think if you want to increase yeild and quality start to learn how to grow organically with all of the beneficial bacteria and fungus and have the whole little ecosystem going on, I don't think it's going to make much if any difference in yeild, but if its a good led and it has the correct light spectrums it should match the hps. Btw saw one grow where they compared a led to a hps and the led had a much lower yeild because it didn't spread out the light and the plant got too big for the light so they move the light up to try as increase the light spread as it jut ended up with larfy nugs

LED and COB are very different things. And I use Roots Organic 707 and the Dry Nutrient Player Pack, personally. Plus Surge, which is the only liquid supplement I use. All organic.

However, using my Vipars, none of my buds were larfy.

In my opinion if you're going to do organic growing go full organic, lie have beneficial soil mites, worms, nematodes, rolly poly bugs, centipedes, beneficial bacteria as fungus and have some hay and kelp on the top for the worms to eat so they can give more nutrients to the soil. I've grown with organic nutrients an I've done full out organic and if you go all the way the results are so much better

Most people have grown organic. There are pros & cons. If you don't agree, then you've never been successful with other mediums.
