might be switching to Jacks

Ive been using Hydroponic Research's Veg & Bloom since my first grow but the cost is getting out of control. Dont get me wrong its a good product and ive had some really good results but i want to find a way to get the cost down. I use Veg & Bloom Dirty (for peat) $120 for 5lbs , Life additive for roots, and their bloom additive $40 a pound. Looking at JR Peters website and i can buy tons more product but there is so much to choose from. What works best with soiless mediums. I use Promix HP. I see alot of people using Citris. Just looking for some help with choosing the correct nutes the first time around. Thanks

Citrus and bloom booster work great, they make a tomato feed that's high in K I've been wondering if that'd help out during late flower

Jacks makes cal and mag nitrate and sulfates. Just go to the specialty nutrients on their webpage

Epson and potassium sulfate are my only additions to the Citrus although I will be trying the Aquagold.

Ran it for years, but the Citrus is the same blend with added sulfur

There is a good and recent video by GrowMau5 on youtube and probably on his LED thread. His new DIY ED COB set up is sickening. Amazing.

He did a test with a high end expensive nute line versus Jacks. The guy is very good at numbers and data so I am sure it was a pretty good side by side comparison. Jack's lost by like 1/16th of an ounce on a big grow.

I think Growmau5 said he only needed to add one thing to Jack's It might be Fulvic Acid or something.

I bought from Jack's from Greenhouse Megastore web site. They seemed to have some of the best prices on Jack's. You can search online. I bought 4 pound tub of Jack's Bloom Booster 10-30-20 delivered for $27.39. Always check eBay too.

Yeah he helped me a ton on my LED light. By far the best investment ive made.
