The reality is that the extremely disadvantaged need help and back when the media showed the poor as disapparate whites social security started to help the downtrodden. And that money is running out and not growing like our military budget with inflation because the very wealthy don't want to pay taxes. So now the richest people get tax credit and lower taxes while the middle class pays taxes with inflation and the very poor get poorer with market inflation and wage stagnation.
