Having Heat Issues with PC Grow. Maybe go LED

Wassup y'all

I need some advice on my hardware as well as troubleshooting. In the photo's below you can see that I have 5 fans overall. I have two 80mm Intake fans on the left, one 120mm (came with case) Intake fan and two 120mm outtake fans located on the top above the power strip.

So heres my problem: with 6 23w CFL's and three LED lights, brings my case to a grand total of 99 degrees. Fecking hot. I thought the two stock 120mm fans would do trick but it's keeping a high temperature. So what I am thinking is, it's either the stock 120mm fans aren't working very well, or theres too many plugs and shit or both.

I was thinking about either purchasing a 150 watt CFL light or a Morsen Full Spectrum UFO Led Grow Light 150W. I am moving to an apartment and i would like to step up the stealthy game as well as have a even layer of light. Would that LED light get too hot for that case? If so would better fans make it able to have nice temperatures

Ambient temps are probably your problem. Putting 150w of LED probably isnt going to help much.

I would think with a setup that small, with enough airflow you should be able to keep it right around ambient.

hmm. Another thing I should add is the room i'm in right now has no steady airflow where as the rest of the house is like 5-6 degrees cooler. When I was growing at a friends house with the case it stayed in the low 80's. Should I buy some new fans?

75-77 but i'll be moving soon into an apartment, so that should change and go down. Landlord pays for electricity.

It's probably a pc fan thing. I've got less than 3sq ft of space. A 90w horticulture led. And a 120mm Corsair AP fan as exhaust. On a 20°c day. It gets between 6 and 8 degrees hotter inside my cabinet.

Led is the way to go. As more energy is spent on light. Rather than heat. And it points towards your plants. Rather than all over the place, without the aid of reflectors.

I think it's a PC fan thing as well. they are all stock fans, so this time around i'm going to invest a little in high CFM fans

Get some noctua industrial strength fans. They're a bit louder. But they do the job. Pccasegear sells them.

just curious do i need to get a fan controller if I want it on top speeds all the time. I also can't seem to find the Cubic Feet per Minute rate either

I don't think so. I think they run full tilt on 12v. I'm not sure the cfm. But they push air really well. That I do know. Even the regular noctua models are good. Despite the garish salmon and poop brown they come in.
