SCROG help! Single 5 gallon plant 2 weeks into 12/12

Hey everybody, just looking for some quick advice on my girl. I have two Viper Spectra 300 watt above a single Applejack female in a 5 gallon bucket. Everytime I move leaves around I find water droplets where they were touching each other. It also just looks very congested under my net vs my normal tie-down method without a net. Should I be doing some trimming or take the net off? Shes 14 days into 12/12

If you're getting moisture on your leaves you don't have enough air circulation through your scrog, it can turn into powdery mildew if you don't change that. At the stage you're at I trim all fan leaves and popcorn buds from below the screen. That alone will help with air circulation.

You do it all in one rip or slowly? I've been working my way up the lower portions of flarfy garbage. And im definitely worried im going to get some kind of mold in my canopy or have it too packed. Seems like a shame to cram her together like that :/ but I think a little trim isn't a bad option

You don't have to do it all at once but gradually over a week or two will help you tremendously.

So I did some selective thinning today and think its going to make a huge difference. Air flow seems to be much better as well as exposing some new bud sites. She covers about 2'x2' at the mesh.

Does a scrog ever get to the point where you should take the screen off? After the stretch maybe to let her breath?

Any other techniques to nice cola's under a LED Scrog?

No leave the screen on until chop. That's kinda the whole point of scrogging. You want that nice even canopy.
Also water on your leaves could mean it's too humid in there. What's your humidity like in there?
If it's too high fix the problem Asap.

45-50 when soils dry, 60 after watering usually, light on. Ive been giving 4-6 liters every 3-4 days with a liter running off.

Personally I keep things at 50-55.
It doesn't look like you're in a tent.
What's your flowering space looking like? Spare room? Closet?

There tends to be more respiration on the underside of leaves. This is purely due to the fact that stomata are prevalent on underside of leaves (see here). The function of this organ is to breathe, like our mouths. This is where H2O leaves the plants as a gas. If a leaf is directly underneath another leaf it will cool the gaseous H2O (like a condenser works) and result in a liquid state H2O left between leaves. That is just why it is happening though. I would just make sure adequate canopy air circulation is met.

Leaves being close together is a sign of close internodal distance and means your going to get denser buds (see here). Your plants seem to be functioning in a healthy manner. However, in my opinion, the environment is not waiving the leaves and moving humidity/air adequately.

Keep your room below 60% humidity from here on out, and increase the direct plant-to-air contact via a circulation fan.

In my opinion I would really only cut leaves if they are casting shade on canopy-penetrating branches, or when loli-popping/super-cropping. I would suspect your plant is just heavy breather and needs more airflow.

My first impression upon viewing was to "yank" that net off and open that plant up and put a small fan under it.
I don't have a lot of experience with nets, but what I instantly found out is the plants can't get rid of the moisture and before I new it I was invested with Spidermites/Powdery Mildew. So I had to take net off and spray each individual plant and reset them and I took the net outside and burned it! lol Haven't used 1 since. Tie your baby down and open her up then look at her in a week and notice the difference.

When you scrog it's a good idea to try to defoliate anything blocking light from another bud. or cut off any baby nugs at the bottom getting no light. scrogso can get tight but with how much more light each side branch is getting compared to a vertical grow, it will be fine with less leaves. get a fan in there too, that will help tremendously by blowing excess moisture off leaves. maybe invest in a dehumidifier, when in flower you want to keep your humidity low to prevent mold, even if you cant see it, mold could be growing inside the nugs. I would recommend an Rh of 30-50 if you can. Otherwise it looks great!
