Fyi, I spoke with Kirk Tousaw's office yesterday. They are seeing most applications take between 4-8weeks. Large doses and extensive criminal records delay it further.
Today will mark the beginning of week 8 for my wife. That's a DG, small dose, and no criminal record.

are you a patient?
you don't need to "smoke" that much....there's extracts to do edibles to get the full effect.
people who have higher doses won't be "smoking" it.

Health Canada doesn't allow extracts. That would be too conducive to harm reduction.

Yes they do....we all got the right to produce concentrates within section 56 ...just not with solvents like butane,naptha..etc....water or dry ice or just s sieve will do it...as well as a variety of other technologies...

Oh, hadn't heard about that. Guess the OP should learn to do it then, though HC's weed probably wouldn't yield much. But another point is how does the OP pay for an oz a day? Must be independently wealthy.

I now have to meet with my doctor every three months, bring in my medication history, and I’m sure if I wasn’t using my full amount they would put me down again. Gone from 3 to 2, to 1.5 grams a day. Used to be 6 months between online appointments, and now I have to go in face to face and do a pee test. I am going to push for the next time waiting 6 months or more. Every three months is annoying.

It is annoying following the rules. But I have high anxiety, so I think it’s the only way I could do it now.
Oh, besides the fact that I illegally smoked for 20 years before I got my script. Guess I’m a rule breaker after all.
What are these other sites? I do like the meds I have now, although cheaper would be nice.

It has nothing to do with if you are selling it or not, it has to do with the pay off you dr will be getting from the LP they sign you up with, you see if you are not spending a a pre determine amount of money then the LP will not want to kick back the Dr.
It is a catch 22, the dr will say oh look you only spent 100$ on Cannabis, looks like you do not need a lot. In reality, you can not afford it from the LPs. If you tell the dr you are going to the blk market to make up the difference, they will cut you off completely.
Are you in Ontario? if so book an app with lift resource center. they will sign for 12months.

The reason for testing piss every 3 months is simply to charge the gov for the test. I actually think they are not even testing the piss in some cases, just throwing it away and charging the gov for the full test. Think about it, you walk in the door for you're app, they already get like 200$ from the Gov, then you piss in a cup, 100 more dollars, then the lp kicks back 100$, oh you need to rebook to try to up you're limit another 200 from ohip, so on and so forth.
When these Dr's go to learn about prescribing Cannabis at the conferences they are taught mainly how to make money off prescribing Cannabis, not anything about the science of it.

Fair assumtion, perhaps. It seems more like probationary conditions for a convicted criminal. Ask him/her if they enjoy making their patiens feel that way because thats how youre being treated by being asked to follow that ridiculous list of demands

So why even be part of the medical mj scam? Complying with regulations is for suckers. What are you gonna get for weed possession, a slap on the wrist, that's what. Only really stupid people ever get caught anyway. Like those who drive around with it or smoke it outdoors. When's the last time a cop had a reason to go inside your home?

But more so I have terrible anxiety and the releif that came with medical marijuana was severe.
Next I'll grow. Cut out the middle man.
