Here's a post I made on another Highrade thread and a link to the thread. I've gotten selveral emails since from people with similiar experiences - poor poor genetics.
Attitude, Peak Seeds, Dr Greenthumb are a few I've had great dealings with. Attitude has the best all around prices and selection of top quality genetics from major breeders.

Highgrade
I've ordered from Highgrade maybe a year ago, grew the seeds to harvest, and read through their message board. From my experience and from the (lots) of threads I've read this is what you can expect:
THE GOOD:
1. You will get your seeds.
Stealth, prompt, friendly service. They will send a second set of seeds if you say you didn't receive the first. They ship to the US. I got my seeds within a week of their receipt of my payment through Track and Trace mail.
THE BAD:
2. You may wish you didn't get your seeds.
Apparently Highgrade jobbed out some seed production when their customer base started growing and one(?) of the breeders wasn't up to the task. I dropped by the forum a while ago and one of the people associated with the seed bank actually admitted in the forum that they'd been sending out bad seeds for some strains for a while (perhaps a year of more - how could they not know?). They claim they're fixed the problems and the bad seeds are out of circulation.
Unstable pheno's, too tall plants, hermies, plants not finishing (my problem), poor potency ...
One person (a woman I think) complained about her ... AK(?) stretching an extra foot or two in flower. Really bothered her because she had limited growing height.
Several people are discussing hermies, some have started threads on topics like - "Will pollenating one bud keep the rest of the plant from hermieing". There are probably more cases, but if people are like me they think they've done something wrong with the grow and don't say anything. Same reason a person might die when they're lost in the woods - embarresment.
My AK lived 22 weeks with clear trichs under 1000W HPS Horticulture. It never finished and I got a few bananas - possibly because the plant took so long to finish and the plant was trying to pollenate itself.
THE PRETTY GOOD LOOKING:
3. You may have found a fantastic seed bank with great selection at great prices.
Some of the members who signed up years ago, some commercial growers too apparently, say that Highrades genetics - that he breeds himself - are some of the best that they've had anywhere. Wide selection, a couple dozen strains, fantastic prices.
If Higrade either finds new breeders to help him produce good seeds again - to satisfy what must be a growing demand - or he shrinks his business to a size that he can handle all the seed production, and raises his prices, their seeds might get back to the quality that the long time forum members talk about.
4. They do not delete messages, on their forum, that point out problems with their business practices or seeds.
This is the most heartening thing for me when I see the growing pains that Highgrade has been going through - you can browse back years in their forum and every bad post is still there. I've read some and thought "there's no way that post is going to stay up", and I drop by a couple of weeks later and I read posts and think "Wow! That's the post I was sure they were going to delete".
It seems like they're working to fix their problems rather than cover them up.
Final Word:
I'm going to keep an eye on their forum and when/if the complaints stop and people start raving about the highs again I'm going to order a custom strain called "Electric Fruit Punch" which seems to have a very interesting high - they have a Smoke forum where the forum members talk about the highs that the strains give - great idea for a seedbank.
I'd recomend looking through their forum and seed list, if things look good try a strain that catches your eye.

****Apparently there are a lot of forum lurkers who don't post for some reason, I've had several emails from people with similiar experiences to my own. With the great genetics and prices at Attitude and Peak it would be reckless and foolish to order from Highgrade. (Dr Greenthumb has great genetics, just a little pricey.)
The least expensive, least trouble and most important part of your grow are your seeds - you're going to spend 4 months or more strugling with hermies, wild phenos, won't finish - and in the end get poor potency.
For this reason I think they are worse than Dr Chronic. With Dr Chronic all you are losing is a bit of money. With Highgrade you are loosing time, peace of mind while growing, and finally a decent crop.

did any of u send anything other than cash to highgrade seeds!!
Just cash, its the best method for seeds IMO. Don't send it USPS - they are slow, and I even read a story where USPS told the authorities a person was buying seeds online etc - ended up as a raid.
Pay the extra 15 dollars for the fast return shipping, and pay for the fastest shipping to them. I don't know the details of the mail industry, but it seems like the faster shipments have a less probability of getting seized illegally by our fascist pigfucker government or just lost.
Also just to update, 13/13 germed Avalanche seeds, 13/13 sprouted. I didn't expect one of them cause it had an extra tail after germ that snapped off and its seed shell was way loose, but it was the last one to pop up today.

hey mane wat up, just went by the site, man that shit lame , no wonder thier exp., no selection.fk that, if if they brot them to my door i'd pass that up. say mane i found that Nl and BB seeds . go to cannabeans, got a nice sel. got stuff no one else has, saw a goo rep. on it so just thot i'd pass it along.

yea i know just thot share new site i found, HG seeds not to bad lookg , but wen some just have a few strains, theres a reason for that. i dont know maybe they are good. wat do i know . i guess first impression.. man i sur be glad wen my shit fini. i aint got shit to smk. i dont smok that toxic ass dirt shit around here.

They've deleted the tread, on their own forum, about the forum moderator saying that they had been selling bad seeds from poor growers.
LOL! At least we know they read this board.
If you've got lots of time and nothing to do go into their forum and take a look around. They may have cleaned out the rest of the forum already but if you search for hermie in Growing101 you can still see a few posts where the poor bastards are going crazy trying to figure out what's causing the hermies and how to stop them (pollenate - LOL!). One lady who claimed to be an experienced grower was going ballistic about the strech in her plants. There's some good comedy if you dig a little.

anyone can say whatever about the seeds quality.and they may have had some bad stock come through.who hasn't?especially if you move large volumes surely you'll see some lemons now and again .if you readIC Mag you kniw that they have breeders on their site that let you know what the upcoming seed syock they sell on SB will be like before you actually buy it .some of it is good some bad .just gotta roll with the punches.It does suck when you are the one who getas the bad stock ,I know i've been there .but what can you do but try again.after all we are all after the same thing,to grow our favorite herb.
